not good...i've done a bit of biting. darn it.

They were grown past the end of my fingers but they kept catching so i was tidying up and then got carried away....whoops :( but they will grow back and i wont let them get that long so that i can keep them tidy.

    Not happy!!!!! :(

Everyone's doing really well, we'll be able to start a new thread soon for recovered nail biters :D:j

Nails are looking alot better now and I'm not ashamed of them anymore....yay!!
I've tried coloured nail polish, but find mine are a bit short yet, so have settled for clear nail varnish which make them look alot nicer, except I keep picking it all off :D

Have you considered seeing a hypnotherapist? I know two people who stopped biting their mails after seeing one for a few sessions. I can't remember who they saw but they found him or her through one of the professional bodies...

please please dont use false nails, they damage your natural nail. (i learnt the hard way)

perserver, its REALLY worth it. Ive been a nail biter for 24 years and finally managed to stop this year :D

    Hello everyone!

Just been sorting out my subscriptions and came across this one, I thought I'd ressurrect it and see how everyone has got on? Any relapses, success stories?

I am proud to say that I haven't bitten mine since the end of August, and I'm now a seasoned nail polish wearer - mainly neutrals, but I did wear red for a couple of parties and have tried out my first french manicure this week!
I still keep them fairly short (no talons!) but they are just past the ends of my fingers.

So how has everyone else done?
