Wedding venue problems - want to cancel.

This may be a long shot but I'm sure that part of the licence for weddings is that it has to be accessible to everyone . Could that be an angle??

You will need to speak to the Superintendent of the registrars at the council. Venues have to be accessible so it may well be an angle as violetta has said especially as they have no disabled facilities.

No update Steph.
Have had a tip off that trading standards is getting involved in venue now and someone (not sure who) is possibly looking to close it down (nothing to do with me) but no idea if that is correct.
Am hoping we get there in time. :eek:
Unable to contact bailiffs (only contactable first thing) but even then the phone isn't answered and we were given a mobile number and have left messages but no call has been returned. I can't do it as it is all in OHs name and half the time he is at work aswell so unable to get away to make calls. It is so infuriating to have got this far and not know what is going on now. It seems to be taking such a long time and we have had no notication of anything.
A little stressful with other stresses we have right now.
What a soap opera this whole performance has been. Never thought I would be here 6 months later having not resolved anything. :rotfl:

Spoken to the bailiffs and they are aware of the situation, sounded like a right bruiser who takes no prisoners (just what we need lol!!).

DD going in for an emergency op on her arm this week.
