Viole - I just went looking and the post has been deleted or disappeared somehow. Not sure why but it is not about anymore.
The other girl who is having problems is going to go ahead with her wedding there as she cannot find a way out and will end up paying more if she cancels. I think she has set up a meeting there this week or next to try and sort things out. I do feel ever so sorry for her, especially after she has read all of this. Madness but that seems to be what the contract dictates so not sure if yours is the same. I am not sure what problems you are having with the venue but maybe worth creating another thread because, as you know, people here have been amazing and given me fantastic advice.

This story is for everyone, wedding or no wedding and you should be proud of all you have achieved.

Someone else posted that they wouldn't have followed it all up like you have, and I think I would have crumbled too!

We are celebrating my OH becoming an Uncle for the first time, so fizz all round tonight, with a little toast to you and Mr B and everyone who makes a stand.

I don't suppose it matters now, but there is still a clue in this thread which led me to the name of the venue, which in turn led me to the reviews on Trip Advisor & to the venue website, so I've seen his picture. I bet he has a small penis.
