Seems to be completly dead this morning (monday)
I will be closing my account if Fast4 dont sort it this week...!!0 -
I heard a rumour that the Fast4 company is run by a ten year old. All us 100's? of customers are really sharing his bedroom broadband connection. The slowdown affecting us has really been caused by him exceeding his monthly download limit.0

Cant download a thing this morning... not even Fast4 e-mails.
Im using BT Click to get on line and do the essential things like updating my virus scanner, e-mails, and keep abreast with my eBay.
Ive had this problem in varying degrees right from when it started in early September.... must be a good six weeks or more.0 -
Its sort of working for me from around 9.40 this morning.... but its still not up to spec.... its still painfully slow and wont download e-mails except Fast4 e-mails.0

It's strange that they don't just shut the system down until it's fixed. Maybe it's so they can keep charging as you can still connect even though it's next to useless. I wonder if OFT would agree that it's fair business practice to charge for what is practically a non-service?
For me this week is actually worse that last weeks dire connection.
If fast4 had ratings like ebay last week would be crap and this week would be crappier.0 -
Ive just timed how long it takes to refresh this page.
From clicking REFRESH to to the moment the load indicator on the bottom of my browser says COMPLETE it took just under 11 minutes.
Thats 100% better than yesturday when It didnt even get the page up...!!
I think we should contact WatchDog and say we want a rebate!!

I remember being a member of fast4's own forum. Anyone know what happened to that?
11 minutes is about the same as the good old xstream ISP but nowhere near as fast as the mirror ISP. Of course they were completely free and freephone ISP's from way back. fast4 don't seem to understand that we are PAYING for their "service".0 -
Dare I say "Its working now!!???" (8.30 am 14th Oct).
It seems to be as fast as its been for quit some time & all....!!!
(I tried FireFly PAYG last night and that was dead as a DoDo.....!!)0 -
No apology no nothing, just weasel words thanking customers for their "understanding".
I don't understand why they have the brass neck not to voluntarily refund money for services clearly not rendered.0 -
Seems like they are assuming that we are saying "Ho that's OK!!"...."We don't mind...!!" "We understand...!!"billnotben wrote: »No apology no nothing, just weasel words thanking customers for their "understanding".
