Then softly cut the ties and let her drift away. If her world is herself, then she'll do just fine.
Hmm yes. I think it might be case of that. its hard at the moment my friends are going through some tough stuff and I don't want to cause any kind of divided loyalities situation, so not making a fuss is possilbly the best way.

Oh Buffy, I'm sorry to hear that. I've been going through similar with my sister, I think you just have to gradually put a bit of distance there. If she has to put you down just to make herself feel good then she's the one with a problem not you. You can always carry on seeing her in a group of people, just try and avoid her on your own. Chances are she probably wont notice anyway!
Now I know I'm ill. Missing a gig's one thing, but I've just been to morrisons and not been tempted by any of the cakes/buns/ice cream that's on offer or reduced! Just by the fruit. or maybe my bodies finally got over the sugar addiction and realised what's good for it. Anyway, I'm going to have a big vitamin c hit now!
Then I had to take my vac round to sister, nearly falling over dragging it up the stairs, luckily one of her neighbours was behind me and took it from me. Sister was standing at the top of the stairs and took the plug off me when I got to the top, very helpful!
I'm supposed to be going to the dentist tomorrow, might have to cancel, I don't think I can stop coughing long enough for them to put two fillings in.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Bookie revs up the care and appears on Pooky's doorstep for dinner.

Buffy - you're worth better than that 'friend'. Tell her she's upsetting you. If she's a friend she will be mortified and change. Any other reaction and she's definitely not and needs to be struck off your Christmas card list.
I've had a snooze.

Still hungry - the yoghurt I find in the fridge isn't doing the job. About time the JSA got their act together.

I iz here...:hello: I hit the ground running this morning and have only just sat down....
Got up and went to running club...just a nice easy run to ease me in.....:T
then dismantled kitchen to find pump has leaked under my cupboards and is the source of bad smell....mopped up and left kickboard off to air under cupboards...
Then mowed grass front and back...then made lunch...then went to Ikea....then dropped gas BBQ off at DD1's (they might use it more than me) and now I am back...knackered but pleased that I seemed to have got a lot of things done this weekend.
I am going to get DS round on Wednesday for the day to put curtain poles up and help me take stuff to the tip and I actually feel like I am catching up with my life...instead of being a hamster on a wheel...
Off to make tea now...Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
