    well, i had just trnasfered some of the last of my redundancy money - and my card wasn't refused when i bought shopping so i assumeed it was going in.

    According to a friend of my brother who's in Alice and Wonderland. He's a genuinely nice guy, chatted to everyone, signed autographs for the extras and even gave people tips. And his kids are really nice and very polite.

    Scaredy - Hope you manage to get it sorted tomorrow.

    Buffy - Sometimes people say things without thinking about the consequences, might be worth telling her that it upset you.

    I could curl up in a little ball and sleep for the rest of the day.....not really condusive to family dining tho is it. :rolleyes: Mind you, I've got to cook it first....toad in the hole and roasties, the last of the fresh runner beans from the garden and roast onions...yums.

    Made some chocolate orange cookie dough earlier, it's in the fridge awaiting a hot oven later.....got some smarties and milky bar to add to it too.

    Edited to add ---- DH's cousin was a runner on Charlie and the chocolate factory and said JD was very friendly and sweet...but quiet.

    See I always suspected he was the perfect man and now I know I am right.

    And Pooky - I have said in the past to her as tactfully as I could that she could be quite rude and hurtful. She either gets really emotional about it all and then its about her and how upset she is and I end up feeling bad or she tells me I am silly and she doesn't mean it and she is only teasing. I have never known some one who doesn't listen as well as she does.

    She is one of those people who you are friends cos they have been around so long - since school. She doesn't have many friends and is acutely self absorbed and honestly I don't know how to manage it at all now.

    Oh well back to house work now. I'd really like a nap but Must Not cos then I won't sleep tonight.

    I shall have some chocolate instead!
