Morning all, I have a busy day ahead too before the madness starts tomorrow. Taking MIL out to lunch for her Birthday (Tuesday) as we are both working so wont be able to visit her on her birthday.
She will have a bit of a twist about that one even though we get our cards with money stuffed in them about 3 months before our Birthdays (not egaggerating ).
My 2 weeks of feeling pretty rubbish has reached the closing scenes by rewarding me with a huge coldsore just in time for all the students to start at work.
On a positive note.................ermmm..............I shall get back to you on that one:rotfl:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Ouch at the cold sore Lousie - luckily I've never suffered with them but they do look painful....enjoy the lunch.
Bookie - Glad you enjoyed your camping....Have you had any response from any of the jobs you've applied for?
Sally - Enjoy your day with Bea - does she start school full time tomorrow? I know some school faff around with half days for a while.
Carp nights sleep again here, DH finally gave in and got up at 5am and I managed to get another hour in before getting up...he's now gone back to bed now the pain killers have kicked in.
Today will just be a mix of checking back to school stuff, a walk to town for some milk and bread and try and get DD1 out of bed....she's in for a shock tomorrow when the alarm goes off at 6am."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Morning all.
Didn't sleep well cos of coughing like mad all night, my colds always end with a bad cough for a couple of weeks. I'm going to take it easy for a few hours before heading back to Bingley, this time with a chair. I'll leave at about 2.30 and call at Boots for my prescription and some cough medicine, and Morrisons for a bottle of water to take into the festival with me.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Doesn't the Morrisons have a pharmacy counter?

Morning!
How are we all on this rather dull morning?
I have had a second hole put in my ears (3 months now) and this morning(both having been fine) they have swollen up and so painful!
That aside we were meant to be going out this morning but we have decided not to, so I shall be fly ladying myself to pieces.

Good morning all. I'm sat in my conservatory listening to the rain hitting the roof. Kind of sounds like the noise of rain falling on a tent which is a sound I've heard a lot in the past. Planned a 12 mile running route to attempt this afternoon although those pesky "monthly cramps" are really bad today. Bloomin typical

No news on the job front pooky - thanks for asking. Will try a few more sites tomorrow. Should hear from the bank too tomorrow.
I'm tired and cold and hungry. Not much food left now - doing a good job of emptying cupboards!
Quiet on here today.
