Well I've had a great day.... and an MSE day too :money:
Me and my friend went to see Julie & Julia for free courtesy of MSE & seefilmfirst.
The film is brilliant :T Highly recommended.
Then I took the 50% off voucher printed from Martin's money saving tips for Pizza Hut. We had 2 drinks, starters and pizzas and it was £7 each :money:
Then I went to see if I could get some jeans that actually fit me, went straight to Gap because I used to love their Long & Lean jeans, took one look at the £39.50 price tag  and walked back out.
Ones in Next didn't fit round my back (never did) so I tried Dorothy Perkins, they have some lovely soft jeans at 2 pairs for £25 which fit perfectly so I got 3 pairs and with my NHS discount was only £33
Then I called into Boots, I've wanted one of those Garnier eye roller things but they are about a tenner.
- reduced to £4.98 and I had a £5 Boots voucher :j
So an excellent, fun day with very little spent!

Bookie - you'd have been more than welcome for tea.....there's tons left. DH wasn't feeling up to eating much .
I roasted loads of onions whilst the oven was on, got some beef stock out of the freezer and will do a roasted onion soup for lunch tomorrow.
Cookies turned out lush - DD's are giving me "puppy dog" eyes as I type but I'm being cruel and making them wait until 7pm.
It's really just hit me that my baby will be in big school tomorrow. She's so excited and I'm so nervous for her."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

It was absolutely brilliant Sammy!
Meryl Streep is brilliant in it.
Cinema was full for a change and quite a few older patrons than the usual rabble that you get at these things.

Hiya SRM - don't stand next to me if you're brown. Being a ginger I never tan, so am a "whiter shade of pale". Can't really help with an update as topics have been as random as ever, but the usual suspects are still around....
Where did you go?YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -

How was the brownie thing Bookie?
Absolutely fab Gemmzie. I had 2 days and nights in a field setting up which was huge fun. We were joined by 5000 for the day yesterday and it was wonderful. We were in the grounds of Belvoir Castle. http://www.belvoircastle.com/
Only downside was that between doing 'official' things I saw very little of my Brownies but I did get to come home on the bus with them. I am very weather beaten and tired but very honoured that we saw in out centenary in such a way.0
