Pap have a look on ebay as you can pick up bulk balloons there. I have no idea about whether you have to have a licence, guess you need to make sure you're not near any airfields, pilons etc though!
Thanks Sally, I wil have a look on ebay. If I cant do the whole release thing I will just go for huge numbers I have found online. It will be done here, they have normal balloon releases and its in the middle of no where :rotfl:Hmm dunno pap, why do you want to do it? Im just being nosey.
I know you can get the helium kits with the gas can and balloons in costco, maybe in your store too??? I don't know how many balloons the gas can will fill but it's bound to be cheaper than getting filled ones from hobby craft.
To celebrate a huge achievement. We used to sell them but not anymore. I have found a site that you can buy huge canisters from but I dont know I they will sell them to me? I guess I could ask :rolleyes:

Thanks Suze-we have a boat in Mallorca,we picked it up and blasted off to Ibiza,for a change, spent 2 weeks explring Ibiza and Formentor....lovely it was!!!!! Congrats to Nana Sammy..oh and Pap-we did a balloon release as a fundraiser for playgroup, we had to get permission from Civil Aviation Auth..but then we are just under Gatwicks flight path..............Debt-free...and staying that way...0
