On page 13 of 'The Big Kick Off' catalogue they have in Argos at the moment they are advertising the Thomson DVD4000 40Gb twin tuner freeview hard drive box. My friend had one and I was envious, but no longer.
Firstly, it has twin tuners, so you can record one program and watch another on all the freeview channels. It also allows you to pause live TV, then rewind for as long as you have been watching. It also has a 14 day electronic program guide, so you can flick through, see a film you are interested in, and the machine will tape it for you. If you are thinking about getting a standard freeview box, this is WELL WORTH the extra seventy quid. Check out AV forums if you're still incredulous - it has yet to be bettered as a Freeview hard drive as far as I understand.
The box isn't on the website yet, but it's available in stores, the code is 532/0840. I was almost tempted to put this on Grabbit while you can because the inferior £129.99 Digifusion box went out of stock pretty quickly.

They say that it's £50 off, but it's never been in their catalogue before. My mate got his on eBay for £150, so very definitely on sale. Current best 'Buy it now' price on eBay is £129.97 plus £12 postage:

Fusion have been a bit dodgy for me. My parents in law have just returned their 4th box with constant crashing i'm afraid...Waddle you do eh?0

i've read a few digi tv forums, and it seems the problem with fusion boxes is with the power supply... not enough juice. replacing with a cheap higher power box fixes the crashes.0

..and as with most pvrs, you can replace the hdd with a larger capacity, eg 129GB instead of the 40GB.
.. this site has useful info: http://dtt.opennet.co.uk/thomson.htm
