Hi, this may be a stupid question coming up!
I made the tuna pasta salad for my lunch out of the new Hairy Bikers book (it includes watered down mayo). We ended up getting an order in for lunch at work so I'm hoping to turn it into a bake with a cheesy sauce, is this likely to work with the mayo, or would it turn out weird? Its only got sweetcorn, tomatoes and chives in it with the tuna :-)0 -
It will be fine. There are a lot of cooked recipes on the best known make of mayonaisse's website.£36/£240

Does anyone know how to make chargrilled chicken and bacon pasta and fajita chicken pasta salad like Tesco sell? Does anyone know how to make tomato and roasted vegetable pasta salad, pasta salad chicken spicy or chicken and bacon pasta like Asda sell?0

Unfortunately I don't have any cheat or copycat recipes. However, I do make a lot of salads and what I will say is buying the right oil or vinegar usually doesn't cost much (if you're going to make it several times and use the bottle) but it does make a huge difference.
If it is just something similar you want, BBC Good Food has loads of Salad recipes:

I believe the Guardian also did a series of warm salads in the late summer autumn, although I personally thought they were a bit ott.0 -

Toni - Try popping a small amount of oil in the pan after you have drained the pasta and swoosh it around intil att the pasta is coated. You'll only need a tiny bit so it souldn't make the pasta go oily but it should be enough to stop it sticking. The other thing I know some people use is a small blob of mayo once the pasta has cooled down a bit.
Also rinse the pasta with cold water if it's to be used as a salad as this may help stop the sticking.Everyone has a dark side... apparently mine is called Harold?!? :huh:0
