pasta salad

fuzzgun19 I swear it's funny you should post that - I was in Morrisons last night and treated myself to some of the much loved Italian pasta from the salad bar! I've started only allowing myself it as a treat as the cost is ridiculous, but what a brilliant idea to ask if anyone knows the recipe! Here's hoping someone knows!

I can't imagine it would taste exactly the same, as pre-packaged stuff is rarely that simple but you could just try mixing mayo and sweet chilli sauce to get something similar. If not even similar, my thinking is that sweet chilli sauce mixed with mayo would taste pretty fab for a pasta salad dressing anyway

On the subject of sweet chilli sauce, is anyone else having difficulty in getting the Sharwoods variety?

All the major supermarkets used to stock it but it seems to have disappeared in recent months - can still get it from the 'big' Tesco nearby but that's it.

my mum works on morrisons salad and pizza bar! she works in the norwich one which has recently one best pizza and pasta bar! i do love morrisons pasta salads but dont know whats in them either!!

I'm so glad someone asked this because for months, everytime i've bought a Morries pasta salad i have told myself i will find out how to make one at home and then i keep forgetting! Hope someone can come up with the recipe :-)

Thanks everyone for the ideas in this thread, I'm so sick of taking the same sandwiches to work so I'm going to try some of these pasta salads instead.
