As so few banks currently send standing orders by the new faster payments service - does it make sense to anyone else to set up 11 individual payments (on the 1st of each month) in advance via internet banking so they go by FPS rather than using standing orders (which will take 3 days or so/payment)?
Regards

The number of banks supporting reliable outbound faster payments but not standing orders is somewhat small (just HSBC?). At worst you'd be out a quid or so.0 -
I use Halifax for outbound standing order payments where the amount is £501-£1000 and Lloyds where the amount is less than £500 - and for both the payments seem to arrive the day they leave......under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0

Me too.
2nd application on form headed ... issue 2, so will argue that it qualifies as only 1 account ( i.e issue ) per customer, if it comes to the crunch.0
