Having waded through the whole thread just now, went to the website. Lo and behold, the rate is 6.25%! There is not a hint of issue 1 or 2 or any other issue.

I havent drunk any wine as yet all day.

Whats going on?

That issue (i.e. Issue 1) is now closed.

They obviously haven't got website skills enough to take it off heh.

Just called and luckily(!) it seems that I caught the issue 2 of this account so have secured 5.5% for a year.

Am annoyed with Royal Mail though as if the strike wasnt on, I might have got the 6.25%! Grrr!!!

Hello! I posted mine on Tuesday last week (for the 6.25%), have not received any communication back from them - but I know my cheque hasn't left my bank account yet.

How's everyone else's? Gambit, how did you know that you secured the 5.5%?

I just called them on 0800 652 6725 and they took my name and checked their records. They told me that my application was processed last Saturday so I would be getting the 5.5% issue 2. Logically that must means you should have at least got that since you sent it before me?
