What would happen if all the people on this board actually met?

For a night out in a pub for example.

Would Carol have a few shandy's too many and get up to no good?
Would ad get chucked out?
Would Pastures New calm everyone down?
Would chucky buy a round?
Would Mr Broderick tell people how it is?
Would Neverdespairgirl come back for one time only?
Would everyone go quiet when Generali was speaking?
Would a half dozen or so chairs be occupied by the same person?
Would a fight break out between Hamish and shakerbaby?
Would !!!!!! stick the boot in?
Would Graham get involved?
Would the police be called?
Would Martin bail us out?

I have met someone from this board :)

eta: when we buy somewhere I might invite a few people round to tell me off or congratualte me. But I might not. DH isn't keen on it to be honest.

No, I would smile politely and move on. There's one or two I wouldn't mind standing next to, in a slightly beery and menacing way.

No, I'd sneak out the back door while people punched each other. I'm not a people person. I do organising, contingency planning and fairness.... I don't do sorting out gobby folks.

You promised not to mention that on here.I was in a vulnerable place and you took advantage of me.

I remember it quite differently. You were lucky I didn't call the police.

There is something ever so slightly seedy about meeting up with someone from the internet.
I have a friend who met a bloke from some forum or other (not this one as I imagine the men here are all too [STRIKE]cheap[/STRIKE] frugal to travel). Her mother told her he was probably a child molester but he turned out to be an electrician.

Maybe a Quiz night would be good. Teams or should that be gangs of 4, answering questions on the housing bubble and BTL <spit>.

Q1. What is the correct spelling of Kirsty Allsop?
Q2. Who is the most ridiculous bull on MSE?
Q3. Is the UK the most indebted nation in Europe?
Q4. Will house rise or fall over the next three years?

And THEN .. the punch up.
