We could have an effigy of Martin beaming benignly down on us.
Will I get banned if I say I am not the dreadfully keen on Martin?

He might make a new thread about you and sticky it.

The thought of sitting, or standing, in Wetherspoons with anyone from here fills me with absolute dread. Like a works outing. All wearing their MSE name badges and explaining to newcomers that the sick sad looking b$stard over there is Mewbie - what an ugly looking t0sser. Much shorter than I imagined, and is that a goitre on the side of his face? And why does he keep picking his nose and eating it. And fat, Jesus, he must be thirty stone - hence the sweat. Ugh.

Mind you, have you clocked Chucky.

    A1. I don't know, but I think she's attractive. :o
    A2. H
A3. Either Italy, Greece or Iceland.
    A4. No idea.

How many did I get right?
You got one right, A2 was correct. Hence the punch up that follows the quiz.

I've met people from elsewhere, and in the main its ok but ever so slightly disappointing. Some are good chums now, people who are as good or better in real life than in person. A couple of that sort live in Aberdeen and can't understand why I keep asking them about housing there :rotfl: Oh, and I go and stay with people I've met through my ''industry relevant'' forums.
The only other forums I post on are private, invite only thingys. I have no idea who any of them really are and given the nature of the forums* they would have a fit if I tried to find out.

Nah no probs. I am possibly the oldest poster on here. I would be the voice of reason even after 10 pints of Stella. As I was once described by DD, I am a bemused older English gentleman.

I can't sing either. Why do you think I spend so much time on here? Not much demand elsewhere.
  • It wasn't seedy, it was actually a lovely evening (and it wasn;t moneysaving newbie or ny other nissan driving person)....

    I drive a Nissan lostinrates.

I like to tell girls that up front. I feel this gets much of the disappointment out of the way early.
