    No they don't.
Customer care, clarity, psychology, and a sense of value all contribute.
Unique products will get you far, but it is how they are presented that really matters.

We are full time ebayers, and we sell at way above the market value, just because we use all these factors to our maximum advantage.

He is a business "sellar", so yes, he probably does have to have low prices. Bad spelling can scare off a lot of potential buyers, as can any sloppiness in a listing, poor quality pictures...the kind of things I look for so I can get a sweet bargain.:p
  • I don't make money on postage (well maybe the odd few pence).

There have been times though that I have had a buyer purchase multipe items and I have quoted discounted P&P (normally by adding an amount for each additional item purchased - which would be fine for 3 items or less), however when I have went to the PO I have realised that the P&P is alot less that the amount I invoiced.

I always refund extra P&P charges the same day with a little note explaining my error. I always get this mentionened in my feedback and my P&P stars are 4.9 - but hey there is always somebody you can't please:mad::p

It really irritates me to think that a buyer might sit whinging about an "overcharge" of less than 2 pounds. Do they think I have nothing better to do? ....

i do have better things to do - but i also work had for every PENNY of my money. had it been packaged properly i probably wouldnt of minded but it was sent in a plastic bag which im willing to bet my almost £2 that that was free to the seller.

p&p fees are just that. money to pay for the postage and packaging fees. not ebay/paypal fees etc
