Took my sick note into work - the 1st time I've driven for over 3 weeks. It was good having a cuppa with some of the girls. Then I came home and promptly fell asleep for best part of the afternoon - only woken when the phone rang!!
I went to Slimming World at tea time as I haven't been for about 5 weeks and I'd paid upfront!!!!! How much money can 1 person waste - although I had booked 2 weeks as holidays which I didn't have to pay for. I have another 2 weeks on my pre paid membership - I am resonably happy with the weight I am at the moment - so I've decided whatever I happen to be at the end of the pre-paid sessions will be my GOAL weight and I will no longer have to pay - as long as I maintain to 3lb either side.
I made a sw canelloni for tea - it was gorgeous - although I didn't tell dh that it had cottage cheese in until after he'd eaten it and said how tasty it was
Think I'll be in bed early tonight - two 10 minute car rides and standing in kitchen about 20 minutes has totally pooped me. Keep getting odd twinges around my tummy too - will be glad to see what gp has to say on Friday.January spends - £587.580 -
keep on resting as much as possible as it will help in the long run..had a sleepy day myself0

Went to see GP - never seen this doc before and she didn't seem to have much of a clue - I seemed to know more than she did - she was very nice though - just seemed a bit clueless!!! It's not too much to expect the docs to read notes before patient enter the room is it???????
Anyway she wanted me to have a sicknote for another couple of weeks and said it is just a matter of building myself up and the pains I had recently are expected after what they did to me and it's just a case of letting my tummy re-balance after having so many strong drugs through iv. She did tell me if I get another temperature or pains go worse to get straight back to the hospital!!!!! Anyway I talked her into letting me go back to work a week on Thursday just short of the 2 weeks - that way I work the Thursday and Friday just at school, have the weekend off then I'm just at school again the following Monday and can start my 2nd job for 2 hours after school on the Tuesday and Wednesday and back to just school for the Thursday and Friday.
It shouldn't be too taxing as we are all on wind down to the end of term (although the children I'm with still need a fair bit of lifting and change or routine upsets them - so I might be kidding myself on that score lol!!) and we have just been ofstedded so there is no pressure on that score either. We break up at the end of July
If I don't get back before the end of term I won't be able to do the play scheme which I love doing part way through the holidays and I might not get paid for the holidays either. Hence my eagerness to get back!!!!!
DD is coming home for the weekend - I'm looking forward the thatJanuary spends - £587.580 -

DD came home for the weekend - I think i put her mind at rest seeing I was ok and nowhere near as poorly as I was a few years ago!! I think it has actually shaken everybody - myself included - as I thought I'd put tummy troubles behind me for good!!
We went over to ds new bungalow and I was pleased to realise the painting I've been doing over the last couple of months every weekend it actually further advanced than I'd realised. Once I feel better I can start doing a bit again with him. It should be much easier now he is living there and we have furniture to sit and rest on.
Dhs car died a death yesterday - a neighbour knocked and said it was making a muffled sound as if the alarm was going off with a sore throat!! Dh spent yesterday with the battery on charge - but when he tried to start it again - everything electrical was on and wouldn't switch off - including the alarm!!!!! I'm hoping it isn't going to be expensive as I'm expecting my wages to drop by half next payday too. If needs be we can share cars and use buses for work - might be a test to see how we manage with just 1 car. At least it got us back from Cornwall and me into hospital a couple of weeks ago - we'd have been in trouble if it had broken down as we were coming home.
I've nodded off over the course of the afternoon again - something I never usually do!!January spends - £587.580 -
if you nodded off you needed the rest.
sorry to hear about DHs car..they cost a fortune don't they0
