Today I have had a close look at the loan I took out recently.

I worked out that with interest over the whole 60 month term of the loan it was 11,793.60. I have made scheduled 4 payments so far bringing it down to 11,007.36. That means I have another 56 payments at 196.54 to make.

I can't pay any extra this month until I know exactly what I'll get paid form work on 15 July. And there won't be any cash from my 2nd job. Although my plan is to carry on saving for the wedding I have decided I need to be doing 'something' about getting this total down - so I plan to make a small extra weekly payment from cash left over in my purse/change jar. My plan is to phone the bank every Friday after work when I finish early and make a small payment with my debit card - I'll then reimburse bank with whatever I've paid - I'm aiming for about a fiver a week - although that might be ambitious......... every little helps though!!

Raining here again - I was going to go swimming but the strong anti-biotics I have been on have left me with a lovely little fungal infection - I visited the chemist yesterday something to treat it with - £13.65  I could have waited to see the doctor but couldn't get in until next week and I want to get back to work tomorrow - sometimes it is just better to pay and be comfortable. So decided swimming was not the best way to pass the day today :( Off to do a bit of tidying up - I will turn this computer off.

I switched the 'puter off but didn't do housework as I'd planned. Went out with friend for a rather nice coffee and soup in little posh Italian cafe (her treat) - can't pass an offer like that :)

Plus she needed support as it is my friend who lost her little girl in May.........puts life in perspective really.

I did put some washing in to test the new seal on the washer £85 well spent although I could have done without it this month.

Back to work tomorrow - not too sure how I feel about it - a bit mixed I think!!

Went back to work on Thursday and it feels as if I've never been away......... got kicked in the face today as I worked 1:1 with a child. I love this kid to bits - there's a beautiful smile and big blue eyes to greet us. But because there are severe communication problems, physical and learning difficulties also the tendency to lash out if life isn't quite up to requirements!! I happened to be a bit too close today....... luckily I saw the boot heading my way!!! I have a cut lip and sore face - but I dodged the full force. No bruising as such yet as the ice-pack did a good job I think. I could have my own little accident book I've filled so many forms in this year. I'm hoping to be in a less challenging class next year - we find out on Friday where we will be. Whatever happens - I won't stay in that particular class - I'll try to get more hours and take my chances with my 2nd job and pack this one in. Although I am hopeful I'll be changing classes - jungle drums have a habit of letting little snippets of gossip slip in what is suppose to be HIGHLY SECRETIVE - LOL - although they can be wrong!!

I have been tired but also had a fairly busy weekend. On Saturday I went to do a bit of painting at ds new house then went for nice walk along the canal followed by tea at Ikea. Pottered longer than I intended in my garden on Sunday. Thought I'd be MSE and sift my old compost and soil into new 'biiig' trough dh made me.......... it took forever and I still haven't finished - I must be so unfit as my back and shoulders knew they'd been working!!! I will buy a couple of new bags of compost to top up the nutrients - but it seems such a waste throwing it all out each year. I am well behind though - I intended to do this in the spring. Hopefully I'm not too late to plant a few salad veg. Or I can be early for next spring LOL

Been keeping spends to a minimum and trying to use the freezer. I had to buy a pre-payment prescription today and was pleased to see they now do a10 month dd option - better than handing over £100 plus at the moment for me.

Beanie just spotted your weight loss - fantastic :)

I have put 3 lb back on since I started back at work - I must get back into the healthier eating I had been doing - I don't want to have to start paying at slimming world again - plus I want to keep to a lower fat diet for my health - it's just so hard when I'm at work - BUT THAT'S NO EXCUSE - I've given myself a good telling off - must take fruit tomorrow and leave the biscuits alone............

Luckily there isn't any bruising yet to my face - I'm amazed as I usually bruise easily - have a dobber bruise on my arm though and I didn't even feel that happen as my face was so sore!!

My MIL is 91 today so we have been to see her tonight - hope I look as good at her age.

I just can't quite believe where time is going at the moment. We broke up last Thursday and I don't seem to have stopped since. I have done some more painting at ds house and feel as if we are now on the last stretch, most of the emulsion has now had at least 3 coats and we are ready to start glossing this weekend :)
Dh has had a few days off too so we have been doing our garden in between showers. That is feeling as if it is getting there again at last. Next time we think about rearranging what is a perfectly good garden I'll think long and hard about it - I'm sorry we ever changed what we had!!

Financially I'm plodding along - I think I've absorbed the loss of income from being off poorly last month by having a storecupboard challenge and virtually no and very low spends for the month. I'm hoping my next pay packet should be more it's usual amount - I'm not sure when the cut off dates were though so this month might still be affected - I am being careful until 15th which is payday.

I am working with my 2nd job tomorrow - if you can call taking 1 child swimming work - keeps me out of mischief lol

I really can't believe we are at the end of our 3rd week of school holidays - I don't seem to have stopped.

I was happy to get my wage slip yesterday and find it was virtually my normal wage - just missing a couple of hours overtime I usually do. But I'd been paid my basic wage for all my time off ill - I'm back to normal wages again now. So after keeping the purse strings fairly well pulled shut (barring a couple of trips to the garden centre) things are looking good - not overflowing by any means but certainly better than I expected when I was off work poorly.

We've got free tickets to go to Southport Flower Show tomorrow - I'm looking forward to that - it was much better than I'd imagined last time I went - a bit of something for everyone.

Doc has given me some new tablets to try to get rid of some of the discomfort I'm still having after eating. I have to report back in 3 weeks time - hopefully they will do the trick.

Next week I'm planning a biiiiig house tidy on Monday - I'm working Tuesday and Thursday and dh is off Friday - that leaves me a 'ME' day on Wednesday and the week after I have no plans at all from after the bank holiday - BLISS.......... Then it's back to work.
