I have had a lovely day. My friend treated me to lunch out at the Trafford Centre for my birthday next Friday.
I took the dress I have for dd's wedding and tried to match a little bolera style jacket - but there wasn't that much in the shops yet. I'll wait a little longer for the Christmas Party stuff to arrive.
I have been having a bit of a saga trying to find shoes - I want navy shoes with a small heel which is basically a court shoe with a strap across. This is the only stylish style I can manage with my dodgy ankle. Anyway to cut a very long story short I've been looking since Easter when I got my dress and when I say I've scoured the shops I mean it LOL. Anyway I managed to get a pair today - the only thing I didn't like was the price BUT I was beginning to think I'd be going barefoot. I am not going to include the price in my spends for the month as they have come out of my wedding budget which I've been saving all year. I have also seen a couple of coats I like and am undecided which to get. A fur one (faux fur) and a woollen one with furry cuffs. I'll take dh to help me choose.
So yes I have had a lovely day, thankyou ladies. Although the phone rang at 5.45 this morning - it was a taxi. No idea where he got the house number as I'm x-directory. I wasn't amused and I don't suppose he was either - I didn't check if it was outside the house or if he'd just mis-dialled, but that was it I was awake for the day.
Other than my shoes and a bit of petrol the day cost me £3.50for a cuppa for myself and friend.

Had a busy few days here.
I was relieved to find out the scan didn't reveal an enlarged aorta which is what they were looking for. But they still don't know what is causing the discomfort - but thankfully it can't be anything too serious.
I have ordered the fur coat (not real fur) it is so unlike me or anything I'd usually wear so I decided to go a bit mad LOL - and I managed to get 20% off as a friend bought it on her discount card for meAgain I'm taking that from my wedding fund rather than monthly spends.
I have had a bit of an expensive weekend as it has been my birthday and close friends ruby wedding anniversary but nice spends have been the order of the weekend.
Household spends £009 Total 230.97
Petrol £000 Total 50.00
Clothes £000 Total 20.00
Entertainment £030 Total 33.50
GRAND TOTAL 334.47
I have been very spoilt and had a lovely weekend - had meals out, been to a ruby wedding party and received some gorgeous presents for my birthday. DD is coming home next week as she has been working away.
On Thursday at slimming world I'd lost 2 and a half pounds and got slimmer of the week - not sure why as some of the others lost 5 and 6 pounds - maybe it's because I keep plodding on lol - story of my life!!! something tells me I won't be repeating that this week. I'll be very lucky not to have put a good amount on - I have till Thursday to do a bit of damage limitation.
Must get on top of house work this week as I've neglected things badly of late.January spends - £587.580 -
Happy belated birthday xxxx sounds like you had a lovely time0
