Am sure you'll get your weight off if you put your mind to it.It's best doing it whilst it's still a small amount.
Hope the flat feeling leaves you soon.
Well done to your friends raising money for the hospice but it must've been a bittersweet moment for that mummy..god bless her angel x0 -
She is indeed a very special angel - she was very badly disabled, tube fed, had a really bad chest needing iv antibiotics every few weeks and she couldn't speak but she defied doctors for 13 years but she loved her little life to the full Taxi - a real daredevil who loved fair rides, riding in a trailer on her dad's bike and was rarely seen without a smile - any passing person was grabbed and gestured to sing her fave song 'wind the bobbin' - one of life's characters. The hospice have been amazing to her family they have offered her and her brother respite care throughout their lives - her brother has the same condition to a lesser degree. When the end came they were amazing - as well as coping with her grief her mum worried about her brother as he didn't understand what had happened and then thought he wouldn't qualify anymore for his respite care as the condition isn't life threatening to him - and he would wonder why he couldn't go to his friends as it really is a home from home for these kids - but they have agreed to keep giving him his care until he is 19 - something they didn't need to do..........so yes I am very proud of my friends - I think I was a bit cheesed off as I really wanted to do the abseil with them but have an awful fear of heights.........
But I've painted a smile on my face - given myself a telling off and been proactive - nothing too mind blowing but took control asked dh to drop me off at work and walked 3 and a half miles home - and controlled what I've eaten......and only spent 27p on an onion. Plus I've decided to make a box of greeting cards to drop off to sell at the hospice - not as exciting or profitable as abseiling - but I will at least have done something for them - it won't cost me anything and will get rid of some clutter from my craft roomJanuary spends - £587.580 -
the hospices do such wonderful work and the little girl sounds amazing...the hospice will appreciate anything you do for them0

Had a bit of an expensive weekend here - I bought some wood and materials for some work we are going to do in the garden. I had been budgeting to do this the weekend before Easter but the sunshine on Saturday inspired dh - so I figured I had to strike whilst the iron is hot LOL - he doesn't often get enthusiastic about DIY - so although it means a tough week or so until my new month on my cc starts - it is doable. He has done half the job already
So with a bit of luck and dry weather we can begin to enjoy it. Plus I'll have paid for it with this months cash rather than waiting
Weight wise I lost 2 1/2 pounds this week still have half a stone to lose before I get back to where I was.....but doc said my BP is high and I need to lose about a stone. But I have to do this.....so am planning on walking home from work tomorrow (will get a lift into work as it takes about an hour and 20 minutes to walk and I'm not that organised in the mornings)January spends - £587.580 -

According to t'internet it is 3.6 miles to work. I walk at my own speed and weave down lots of side roads generally having a nosey in peoples garden's looking a spring flowers as I go
very relaxing.........
My gym membership has run out and I didn't use it enough pay for it's cost so I'm not even thinking of taking it out again. I got to the stage where I couldn't swim as I had bursitis in my hip which got worse after swimming. Which has improved greatly since I had accupuncture. Soooooo I figure if dh drops me off at work - I HAVE to get some exercise as my car won't be there - so no room for procrastination or excuses;) I'm a bit worried about setting my ankles hurting again but it's a catch 22 situation. I need to exercise to bring BP down - can't swim or do anything too strenuous as it really aggrevates my joints. So am planning 3 gentle walks a week - 1 over weekend, 1 home from work and walking about an hour pushing a girl I take out in wheelchair on 2nd job - if my ankles start again I'll have to rethink - but they are far worse in warmer weather when it's too hot to wear supportive boots. Don't know how you both manage Beanie and Taxi - it really cheeses me off when I try and look after myself and whatever I seem to try sets something else off. Think I need putting in a bag and shaking up.........LOLJanuary spends - £587.580 -

Walked home from workthen went out with friend to cinema to have good time and keep her spirits up - she did an abseil last week and been a bit low since, Thought we were going to see a comedy but it was actually quite sad - we later laughed at the irony of it and then we had a meal out too - so certainly not a NSD here ;( but good to spend time with friend
