Had a mini panic yesterday when I was sorting out some paperwork and realised my car's MOT had expired!!! Anyway I managed to get it in straight away and luckilt itt passed straight away. Cost £40 whic dh paid so even better :) I dread to think what might have happened it I hadn't been looking through paperwork as mt MOT hadn't even entered my woolly head.

DH is off today so think we are heading for Blackpool - walk along sea front and Valentine dinner somewhere tasty and MSE!!

I'm working the rest of half term but it's un work rather than 'real' work :)

We had a lovely day on Tuesday - we ended up going to York. We milled around the town - in and out of shops and cafes then along the river for a bit - I tried some outfits on fitting of a mother of the bride - just a pity not one of them fitted this particular mother to be of the bride. Everything I liked was sooooo long I could have given the floor a polish as I went along in them ;).........they would have been very expensive floor dusters!!!!!!!!!!!! I asked if they were available in petite - no joy. I'm just about 5 ft tall - dh says 4ft 11 and a bit!! Or they fitted around the shoulders but wouldn't fasten around the middle. We must have wallked MILES and then we ended up going for a delish Turkish meal as a Valentine treat. It didn't rain on us either - so all in all a pretty good day. It was gone 11pm when we got in - I could have easily stayed over, but glancing at the price of hotels in York on Valentine's night it was just as well I was working on Wednesday.

I'll keep on trying to lose weight around the tummy area and looking for a suitable posh frock for the wedding - I've got until December.

It's tempting to bring the our nearly 30 year old caravan back from Cornwall to take advantage of an odd night away - might weigh up the pros and cons to that thought..........

I worked 1-1 with a child on Wednesday with 2nd job and had a lovely time - can't call it work. This child has autism and is rarely taken out by mum (plays up something chronic for her and I fully understand why she doesn't) - however because I used to have this child in the ASD class I worked in - I only have to look in a certain way for good behaviour to kick ini. Managed to get chicken nuggets and milk down child in McDs (eats at school but not for mum) then we played with a football on park (safely enclosed area) and 4 hours passed way too quickly. Mum couldn't believe I got child to eat and then played and even let go of hand as would have run off from mum. I will take mum with us next time we go to same park.

Today and tomorrow I'm at the holiday club for children at school - only 20 children and about 10 staff - fun had by all and extra pennies too :)

I went out with some of the ladies from my old job last night and listening to the moans - I am so pleased that I changed jobs. The girl did something right for once LOL

Payday was yesterday - and by the time all my cash goes out to various payments - I should be ok for February - as long as I keep my positive head on and not have a blow out on spending or anything unexpected rears it's head.

Annndddddddddd I lost 1/2 lb too - not a massive amount but considering the massive Turkish meal and fish and chips I ate earlier this week - it'll do for me. 6 1/2 lbs since I started SW - need at least 1/2 lb this week to make it HALF a STONE (not quite in Taxi's league - but I'm chuffed with it for me :) )

Another 1 and 1/2 lost this week - I was quite happy with that. 8lbs in 7 weeks not an earthshattering loss - but if I manage to carry on I'll have lost what I need by the end of summer then I can start looking for a wedding outfit.

It was lovely to see a bit of sunshine over a couple of afternoons this week - put a bit of a perk in my step. My ankle is still doing ok too - not as good as it was when it was first injected but certainly tons better than it was. I haven't taken painkillers for the first time in about 8 years or more :)

I've managed to get a few extra hours work in my 2nd job this week, so busy-busy-busy :) Might as well take it whilst it's on offer as it's only covering sick leave and won't be for long.

MMMmmmm - there have been a couple of things crop up recently that I wanted to get sorted - so I have taken out a loan - I always said I wouldn't but.......... the saying 'never say never' was invented for me!!

All my cc cards are now all paid with this loan money and I have the extra cash to deal with these things that needed dealing with immediatley. I am paying less than I was paying on the c cards but I fully intend to pay it off earlier than the due date - I owe nothing else at all - and am happy that I have been able to do this. So here we go again with a new target to aim at paying off. I am actually looking forward to the challenge. 10,000 to dwindle down to 0...........

On the weight loss front I have lost another half a pound - not much but the same as a pack of lard......... not too sure how I'll fare next weigh in - I went out with friends for a Turkish meal on Thursday - just fancied fish and chips on Friday so I had a fish, peas and a few chips from the chippy then had chicken and chips whilst out today. But each time I stopped eating as soon as I started feeling full and I can honestly say I certainly haven't deprived myself LOL LOL LOL...........the scales will tell me on Wednesday think I'm on catch up from now on ;)

I have been a bit lax on the shopping front over the last few weeks - a few meals out, and I've had fish and chips twice during the last month - something I rarely do - so why did I rediscover a lovely chippy I'd not visited in a long long time...... I have been to Mr M's and stocked up with food today - if I'm going to keep up with the SW I'll need extra fruit and veg - but other than that the £40 I spent today along with freezer and store cupboard goodies should keep me going until payday which is 15th. SO for the next week I shall be eating...........

Breakfast - either porridge, egg/beans on toast, omelette, yoghurt and fruit, or breakfast barmcake
Dinner at school - jacket potao, salad and usually tuna occasionally beans (depending whats available as I get dinner at school)
    Teas - stew with veg
grilled fish, new potato, peas and grilled tomato
pasta and roasted veg (probably twice)
hm lamb kebabs and either rice or cous cous and salad
hm burger and lf oven chips with onion, mushroom and tomato (dry fried)
    spag bol

Snacks/afters will be a combination of fruit and/or sugar free jelly, cooked meats or fat free cottage cheese, rice pudding, quavers and an occasional ferraro rocher (still eating a box I had at Christmas - because I know they are there and I CAN have them if I want - I have only had a few :))

I have all the ingredients in so don't need to shop - all are accounted for within my SW plan. THERE IS NO REASON WHY I SHOULD OVERINDULGE THIS WEEK - I've written it down so I'll have to do it now :)
