5 NSDs so far this year
I ended up staying off work today as felt so grotty this morning - I'm not going in tomorrow either. Hopefully I should be feeling ok for Monday. No point going to the doctors as it is basically a head cold that I can't shift - just time and a bit of tlc will clear it I suppose. It's doesn't feel as if there is any infection just as if someone's turned a tap on in my head LOLJanuary spends - £587.580 -
Sorry to hear you are not well and how awful about MILs op0

I'm polishing me halo here again -a NSD for me - 6 in a row
think it might be a record for me. This of course has been helped greatly by the fact that I feel rubbish and haven't got enough energy to go out - I should be out with the girlies this evening.
MIL has had a phone call from hospital asking her to go in as a day patient on Monday for tests. Not sure what kind - all we could get out of her was they were lovely when they spoke to her. At least she is happy LOLJanuary spends - £587.580 -
Yet another NSD here but that won't happen tomorrow - I'll need milk and fresh fruit and veg tomorrow.
I'm aiming for 4 NSD's next week. I'm actually getting quite excited as Friday is payday and I want to be able to update and look at my cash totals - boy - that makes me sound so sad and in need of getting a more exciting life LOLJanuary spends - £587.580 -
MMMMMM - must make note to go shopping by myself next time!! I took DH with me to Sainsbobs - I don't often go there but fancied going somewhere different and I only needed a bit of fruit, veg and milk. SO HOW did I end up spending coppers short of £40. DH does quite enjoy going shopping with me and I don't really mind. Easy to see why the bill was double to what I'd envisaged though!!
Gammon, cabbage, carrots and tatties for tea. Then big pan of minestrone from the stock for mid-week dinners too. Gammon was bargainous last week reduced to £4and we should get a few meals from it too.
I have been putting off sorting the wardrobe out all weekend. I don't want to put the Christmas decs back in overhead cupboards until I've decluttered. If I do it now it shouldn't in theory be too bad..............just need to shift myself.
Just found out dd is coming home at weekend - looking forward to that.January spends - £587.580 -
I got some good bargains in Sainsbobs today :j

NSD again here - thats 8/9. Feeling a bit smug.....
It's bee a tough day at work - I've only been in 3 days since Christmas and in need of a half term already. This always seems a hard half term - think all the kiddy-winkies are grumpy after the lack of routine and late nights of Christmas. We have had a couple of our lot crying and generally being out of sorts with the world and letting everyone know about it however they can. It is hard though when you can't express yourself with words or signs and make feeling known. And it's contagious LOL We have needed quick reflexes to dodge bites and kicks today. It's all worth it though when one of the children connnect with a smile or get your hands to clap for themI have to smile sometimes as people say 'what ONLY 7 children and 4 staff!' - on days like today we need at least another 3 staff.
