Yes Taxi - I can do this and I have the incentive!!
Still waiting for a decision on 0% card but got a back-up plan just incase I'm declined - although I can't really see why I would be. I'll shuffle to a 0% deal on my reward card and just stop using it as a reward card.
I have moved all my bits of cash into my bank account and will hunt down an savings account with a better interest rate than the one I had previously and transfer it over - that's on my 'to do' list this week!!
Had a trip into town after work and went into the new Primarni - resisted (more like nothing grabbed my fancy really!!) everything except a Peppa Pig bag for £3 which will be sent to Father Christmas along with a little denim dress bought in the sales in July for my Great neice. Then a Thomas Tank train for £3 again to go with a pair of jeans - again bought in sales for my Great nephew. I'm doing ok for Christmas, quite scary really!!
Total spends since payday £76 - I'm pleased with that.
Food wise I did okish too -
Breakfast - porridge
Dinner - jacket, tuna and salad
snack - tuna and salad sandwich (Tesco healthy options) - was hungry when out after work and it was that or chocolate
tea - chicken, rice and stir fried veg.
Snacks through day - banana, 2 chocolat sea shells and a chocolat mini roll.
MMMMMMMMMM - after reading that last line I haven't done quite as well as I thought!!!!!January spends - £587.580 -
Must get started on Christmas myself soon ..and nothing wrong with that eating plan0

I ate
Breakfast - porridge
Dinner - jacket, veg grill and salad (I get a school lunch - so always great choice!!)
Snack - banana, satsuma, 2 crackers and LF phili
Tea - hm chicken and veg soup, ham and phili toastie (no butter) and salad

Pretty pleased with all that really. Going round to freinds now but won't be able to blow my good work with wine as I'm drivingJanuary spends - £587.580 -

Of course I'll remember you Beanie
LOL
OOOhhhhh - what would I do if I won................ Treat friends and family, have grotty teeth sorted and shiny new implants, (how SAD is THAT!!) Have a lovely holiday somewhere warm and dry but not too hot..........and I don't really know what else I'd do.
BAck to reality.........
NSD today
I ate
porridge
jacket, salad and roast beef.
Oven chips, baked beans and middle from cheese and onion pie - only ate a tiny bit of the pastry (had them in freezer and I wasn't going to throw them!!)
1 chocolate shell, 2 bananas, a satsuma and an apple.
Took the kids from work to a cycle place this morning - it's a brill place where they have adapted bikes for people with disabilities. I walked round the running track a couple of times helping one child steer then I pedalled a massive 3 wheeler with a big seat in front with another child - it took some shifting too!! It's an amazing charity with bike and trailer adaptions you'd never even dreamed of.
This afternoon we must have pushed the children a couple of miles out and about doing life skills with them. Mmmmm - this new class is certainly more physically challenging than the last class I was in LOL - not sure if I'll be very fit by the end of the year or fit for nothingJanuary spends - £587.580 -
The millionnaire lifestyle is not for me this week
only managed 1 number on my lottery ticket - would have been better off putting a £1 in my piggy bank LOL
Had a day in Manchester and finished off at Trafford centre yesterday. It's been ages since I've done that. I was treated to my tea out so I actually spent less than £20 on coffee and cakes, train fair and a couple of storage boxes. I was pleased with that and Thursday and Friday were both NSDs. I was looking for a special birhday present for somebody but didn't see anthing suitable. It's not needed for a couple of weeks yet so I can go out looking again........
I have been approved for the 0% cc I applied for so just waiting for all the literature to come through and I can get that sorted. Everything seems to be coming together. and I've been pleased with my spends since payday.
I lost 1 1/2 lb this week too but will be out for a meal on my birthday on Wednesday and am going to a wine tasting evening on Thursday so am not expecting much this week.
I''m miffed with weather - all week I've listened to 'mini heatwave' 'Indian summer' and the like starting at weekend - it's been grey and drizzly ALL weekend - we wanted to get on with the garden GGGGRRRRRRRRJanuary spends - £587.580 -
Just nipped into Asda for a 'few bits' and made the fatal mistake of having dh with me LOL so £48 pound later.................. NOW I know why I got into the habit of nipping into shops on my way home from work. Dh commented that he doesn't get to come shopping with me as often as he used to. I wonder why LOL LOL LOL
SO my spend this month since payday is now £152 and it only 10 days since then. It has done me good re-focussing and keeping this spending diary. I really need to kurb it and use what I have in the house. I had got quite good at this but it seems I have not so much slipped but fallen headlong into bad habits. I'll be having a store cupboard challenge this week - shouldn't be too hard as freezer and cupboards are full.January spends - £587.580 -
Over the last couple of days I have bought a few bits I'd forgotten, plus I bought cakes, biscuits and crisps for my birthday treat to the people at work tomorrow and with all of that have managed to part with £35 pounds. My spends since 15th which was payday is now £187. The fridge and freezer are now full and i don't forsee too many spends until the weekend after next so hopefully will have a few NSD or low spend days. I got some bargains in Mr M's tonight a big bag of various bread rolls for 19p and 4 Scotch pies for 19p - just got to figure out how to get them in the freezer now LOL
Food wise I've not done too badly with my eating, but am going to enjoy my birthday tomorrow and will focus on healthier eating and excercise from next week. I will fit into a nice dress this time next year.January spends - £587.580
