Could kick myself - I lost best part of a stone in weight over several months - got a bit cheesed off with things and promptly put 8lb back in a matter of weeks - I've just found out I'm going to be going to a wedding..........not got the date yet so I have to get back on track pretty quickly :)

Thanks Taxi - think maybe I might have a good incentive this time - the wedding I mentioned is my dd. After being with her partner nearly 10 years they have decided to get married. Don't know when or where yet, probably not until next year. It's all very exciting really - I thought they'd stay as they were forever and I was happy with that but did have a tiny secret wish that one day there might be the need for a new hat LOL LOL LOL - don't think I've owned a hat since my school days many years ago and I never wore that!!

This has put a new focus on my df journey and I need to do a serious bit of thinking me thinks.

Been out with ds today - had lunch and went for a walk - weather was gorgeous. I am now sitting with hot, swollen ankles which are suitably elevated. I'm determined to keep walking as much as possible but they are certainly giving me agro after the walk - and it wasn't too long a walk and we had plently of stops along the way.

It's felt like a really wasted day today - sat an hour waiting for x-rays - GP had requested the x-rays to be taken in a weight bearing position. So I stood on some steps and had the x-rays taken then radiographer said 'oh these are for your GP - I thought you'd come from the orthopaedic clinic' 'I wouldn't have done them weightbearing if I'd have known' ........DEEERRRRRR.......... It was written very clearly on the form I gave them.......... What difference it made whether it was consultant or GP's request I'm not quite sure but hey, such is life LOL. She did a fair bit of muttering to other radiographer then said would I take a seat back in the waiting room as she wanted to show orthopaedic doc anyway. I have to admit to being slightly worried for a minute or so. She came back and said 'there are no fractures but you'll need to go back to the GP in a couple of days' Think I'd better make an appointment next week LOL

I do know because of the condition I have the bones appear to have little marks all over them which can look rather strange if you haven't seen xrays of a person with it before. So hopefully it will only be that she has seen.

I did a bit of shopping in Mr M's came home and had ryvitas for lunch :) I drove to a job with young girl for my 2nd job to find out ther was nobody in - had to hang around for half an hour before I was allowed to come home, so I feel as if I've been waiting around all day for one thing or another. At least I'll still get paid for the 2 hours I was supposed to work.

Had a nsd today - dh is off work next week so could be a fairly costly week as we are hoping for some days out, maybe even a night away somewhere in Wales - depends on the weather forecast and what's available. I'm going to do some serious looking at my budget and start a spending diary the week after. I'll be back at work that week too so should help get back on track with things spend and food wise ad they have both slipped badly over the school holidays

Tomorrow I'm planning a big tidy up as dh has to work then he's off from Sunday - let the fun commence...........
