CBM - have had a really lazy day today so am indeedy getting my R&R. Enjoy your dinner!!
- have spent most of the day either catching up on diaries or on the phone to friend. DH has been keeping me supplied with cups of tea and a custard doughnut and then a bag of choccy's bought for Halloween to give to callers on offer at Mr M's - but doesn't look like they are going to make it to 31st LOL - can't risk them going off.
Tea is made - Spanish style chicken and savoury rice - made yesterday whilst cooker was on - own recipe that I'll probably never be able to repeat - hope it's ok.
Was hoping DD would come home for a couple of days whilst I'm off but she left it too late for cheap (is there such a thing????) train ticket. So she is coming home for DH's birthday in November with her OH in car instead. That will be nice though as we can go out for family meal together - she hasn't seen her dad on his birthday for several years. Would have been good to have a girlie day together though.

Hi Milann...GL with MIL.
I admire you doing your job as it must be heart breaking looking after very poorly children and it is so true that those little loves are always smiling. It certainly does put things into perspective.
You've certainly got a busy week ahead...but do try and rest.
When DD comes down you and her could have a girlie day and her boyfriend and your DH could have a boys day.0 -
Finally sorted out new savings account with Abbey and set up new dd's to pay in each month - hopefully they should go through ok this time. Queried transferring currnet loan to see it there was a lower interest one but they couldn't better the rate I have now - so will save and try and pay it off earlier.
After a mooch around the shops - I bought a necklace and earrings for friends birthday. Bargain from Mr T and quite nice for a fiver for both - came home and had lunch at home instead of eating out :money:- but I am meeting this friend later for a coffee to give her her pressie - that is after I've had a swim and made use of my fitness club membership
Did the ironing today before I went out this morning - DH is still in shock cos I've also put it away and all before 9.30 - mmmm - wonder if I'm sickening for something LOL

Had a swim and really enjoyed it - 1st time in ages I haven't been too tired so I'm well chuffed as I managed 16 lengths before it was time to meet friend. I know it's not like swimming the channel but it's a start. Will repeat at some point this week - I hope!!
Whilst out and about have been looking for a box or bucket of popcorn (preferably nice butterkist style) - could only find bags. I want to give my eldest couple of great nieces a cinema voucher for Christmas and thought I'd put some popcorn with it - preferably a bogof or £shop purchase but at the mo would be happy with any as only found bags of popcorn - I have had boxes in the past - anyone seen any anywhere???

We actually have lots of fun at work and tend to forget about the illness and disabilities. It is hard going at times but there's never a dull moment. The nice thing is the mainstream kids just take it as it is and don't think twice about things.
Spent yesterday cooking - lots of home made ready meals to make life easier after work and made 2 Christmas cakes. Will have to eat from the freezer or I won't have any room for Christmas foods.
Had a quick tidy and been playing on line scrabble - very addictive!! Off to pick MIL up now - wish me luck!!January spends - £587.580
