Hi Milann - it is nice to have something to aim for tho once you are debt free. We have promised ourselves an all inclusive abroad in the sun - hopefully around the end of next May! That is contingent on the job I am in being made perm tho....

0% card arrived today but I had some friends round and couldn't do much about it - but tomorrow will do a bit of shuffling around with finances, loans and balance transfer. Should be ok then if new wage is a bit lower - if not I'll have to get some holiday work for future holidays.

Set to and did several surveys last night - I think seeing that caravan has given me a new enthusiasm. I lost all interest in doing them as I'd been screened out so often during my last spurt. I'm hoping I might not get thrown out so often this time - it wasn't a lot but helped with the CHristmas presents last year.

SH - No I haven't been in touch as they are on holiday. I could kick myself not asking but am fairly sure it won't be too far away from my old wage - but I keep telling myself even if it is less it has to be worth it. (then having a mini panic) I'll be working an hour and a half less each day and it shouldn't be as heavy. In the long term it has to be better for me. If it is less cash I'll put my name down for work with individual families during some of the school holidays. I get paid until the end of August from my old job.

Not sure what has got into me today - I feel really flat - a CBA day. I had intentions of sorting all my finances but haven't done any, I actually stayed in bed until 11 am. Think I need to give myself a kick up the jacksy or something - I can't go on like this for the rest of the holidays!!! I used to love the holidays but just recently am finding after the 1st week I am lost with myself.... and I have things I could do - just need to shape myself.

Just watching a programme about making yourself look 10 years younger - OUCH - surgery looks horrendous - I COULDN'T go through that to look younger!!!!!!!!

Off to give myself a talking to.........

    just watched the same programme...lol

you'll get everything done when you need to.

how about writing a list of everything you need to get done and then just ticking one off at a time...you could put them in priority order maybe.

hi milann - don't beat yourself up over relaxing in the holidays - perhaps your body is trying to tell you something. Rest, recuperate, refresh - go back recharged! Don't let guilt ruin your time off!

Had another lazy morning and have decided to sit on my new 0% card as payments are due out over the next few days on old card and loan. Then make all the payments next week that way they will not cross over.

I'm wondering if my HRT is at the core of my CBA attitude of the last couple of days. I'm just starting the 3rd packet of pills and therefore gone back onto the pill with just 1 hormone in rather than a couple of hormones that some of the pills toward the end of a monthly pack contain. Ive never been one to suffer from pms but it would fit the bill... something to monitor I think but even if it is the case the overall results are better for me. Or if it is all the emotional rollercoaster of the last few months - dd being ill, me having a health scare, MIL being ill then deciding to put her house on market then do I don't I change jobs...... and now I've stopped and relaxed it is taking it's toll..... I will listen to my body though and take it easier but I need to keep busy and have a 'project' of some sort to at least scheme and plan towards....

I am just off to tackle the craft room - shouldn't be too bad. I want remove and dust all the boxes but everything in the boxes will be fine - then once put back and a small 'pile' has been distributed to it's rightful home.... and the bed made back into the settee after dd's visit at the beginning of July :o been going to do it every weekend since!!

I am going to spend the weekend in London at dd's (I say London but we avoid the city centre with a vengeance!!) then am going to do a project with ds and see how much of his flat we can emulsion in a week - I'll probably stay a few nights even though he only lives half an hour away.

And once I am back home am planning on a couple of weeks crafting and going out for a couple of days somewhere - might just go and get on a train to see where I end up - I used to love doing that when the kids were small.

So now I've slobbed around a couple of days - I have a plan of action to follow or ignore should something better turn up ;)

I still need to sort out my crafting stuff after the move. I'm probably going to try making some beaded flowers so I need to get it all sorted before I add more stuff to it!
