3 NSDs in a row - so far so good.

Had a busy weekend visiting family in Leeds finally took Christmas presents and then spent most of yesterday doing stuff for work - didn't finish till gone 11 then was at work till 7pm tonight doing a display. No rest for the wicked - I must have been very bad in a former life. Still got some planning to catch up on tonight then should be up to date for a while. I had planned on doing most of this stuff during the Christmas holidays when I went to see dd - and only just managing to catch up with myself.

Must get a train ticket to go to London to see dd at half term - only a couple of weeks to go.

Not much else to report - I had intended ringing the loan company tonight to see how much my total was to date - but with being home late didn't get round to it - will do tomorrow and see how much my totals have come down.

Beanilou - I've got a loan which I think is around the £4,000 mark now - I really must get around to phoning and seeing what it is - it's due to finish in April 2011. And a cc of coppers under £2,000 at 0% till September. I'm paying minimum payments on this whilst trying to save in an isa to pay it off before this finishes. I have brought these debts down from over £20,000 - (I don't know exactly how much I owed as I couldn't face to look at them - total denial:eek:) over the last 3 years and am now feeling quite pleased that I am on the last leg. I recently got a reward cc which I am determined to pay off each month for everyday spends - this is why I'm in such a pickle this month as I really overspent last month - but I knew if I only paid part of it, it could easily turn ito a slippery slope again!!!! If I find it too tempting in future I shall cancel it and go to using cash for most things which is what I'd got used to doing. Like I've said before it might not seem much in comparison to some people, but it was really wearing me down and I was really frightened and worried about it when I faced a long stint on the sick - I vowed to sort myself and never get like it again!!!!!

Called into Morrisons for some milk today and decided to shop for the things I'd need for the next week or so save me going out and spending more. Soooo £46 later - but I used vouchers for £40 of it so not too bad. I have enough food in now for about a couple of weeks - so far so good - pity there's still 26 days till payday though- not that I'm counting or anything like that ;)

I joined a union recently and one of the 'perks' was a tax check. I sent off for the info and have had a letter back saying this agency can check it out for you but charges 40% for doing so - I'm in a bit of a dilema as half of me says - on yer bike 40% but the other half says how complicated would it be to do it myself - would it just be easier to pay it or not (inserts shrugging shoulders icon)

I'm tired tonight so off to get to sleep before dh starts the snoring!!!!!

Best looking on the tax section on here rather than forking out 40% to somebody.
