When i download something like an music album and it takes at least 8 hours with a 2.25 and im paying £25 nearly for unlimited download then i think i have every right to complain.
You really need to find better places to steal music from, 8 hours for an album suggests either you don't have your client set up correctly, or you are connected to a bad seeder. That, combined with your rant about BT not wanting to change the laws of physics, or change adsl protocols on your behalf, suggests the regression of human evolution is underway :D

You are welcome to come back and say you're getting the album legally from iTunes etc...but you won't fool anyone as we all know the legal download sites have pretty good throughput :)

...and I'd also like a faster connection, but I'm not gonna move house to get it, and I'm not gonna blame BT for the failings of copper as a conductor, I'm just grateful I don't live in Milton Keynes with all that aluminium :T

    Hi.

I use itunes for my ipod actually.

So the stats, what do they tell u? and the modem is in the master scoket so i have been told.

Maybe some people are prepared to be happy to pay over the odds for a slow connection, maybe some people are happy to spend hours on the phone to an indian person when they phone BRITISH telecom, maybe some of you are happy that they have refused to communicate in writing. However I am not.

    Hint - test.

Router stats are explained on that website if you can be bothered to read about them and learn what they mean.

Nothing like this makes sense to me thats why i came on here. I put the stats up. If you dont want help then jog on and be an !!! to someone else!

    Hi.

    However I am not.

Unfortunately as others have said you cannot change the laws of physics, even if BT were to put in another line with 53db downstream line attenuation it would hardly make any difference, so you can complain all you want it will not change anything, if you want a faster speed the only choice is move nearer to the exchange.
