Thanks all. Nice day today - church this am and then had friend and her mum for lunch. Chuffed as did a pork loin (frozen) with apple, creme freche and onion sauce with veg and cheesecake to follow. Yummy although poor mum didnt manage to keep it down for long so is now in agreement that if its gallstones we'll push to have them out as her quality of life is being seriously affected...
This eve is just relaxing and trying to master a new pattern which literally, is japanese although translated! All symbols which I've not yet used but do like a challenge!

Busy 24hrs...mum was in agony so we had to call an ambulence last night..into a&e and stayed with her until about 3am then came home for few hrs sleep before going back to be assertive on her behalf....they were talking about sending her home so had a chat with dr and explained that I wasnt happy - shes been sick/ikky tummy for a month and their assessment that meds reacting dont stack up when you consider that for 2wks of month she wasnt on any meds! Anyway stayed there until 530 and they said some tests back and she has a bug but just not sure which one - ? salmonella! Am home now and going to have very early night and catch up on sleep...definately not a nsd - £20 on taxis or parking last 24hrs but she will give that back.......

Good for you sticking up for your Mum. I do think hospitals want the easy route too often. Hope it pays off

thanks...typically not sleepy now!! Am happy for her to come home when we know she is getting the right treatment which hopefully we will now. The worst is done and I nicely told them on their head be it if they discharge her home and shes poorly again...did the trick (and usually does btw!)...
