Well they say life begins at 40 and my 40th year is set to be one of the most interesting! Thankfully I have fantsatic support from family and friends and know, regardless of what happens, that I will cope!
So the debt total is removed from my siggy but when I joined debt was at 37,000 and am now down to 23ish. Its been a long road and I definately come under the up and down and faffed a bit along the way but have discovered that job insecurity definately focusses the mind and I've been almost saintly in the last week!
For those that are reading afresh abit a bout me I'm a 40 year old, happily single woman who lives with 4 cats, a turtle and a fish! Interests include crafting allotmenteering (although been naff this year) and cooking - not forgetting being on mse!

Life will begin at 40 and you will be a stronger, wiser, person:cool:At least that's what i keep telling myself - not worked for me yet, but i am sure it will work for you.:D:rotfl:
As someone who is unknown once said
"A single moment of understanding can flood a whole life with meaning."
As Blackadder says or rather Queenie says:
Queenie: I may have the body of a weak and feeble woman, but I have the heart and stomach of a concrete elephant.
So take your pick, you are now a wise woman! It's official:D:T:j:beer:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0
