Had lovely supper with friends...3yr old just loves the cat but thankfully is gentle/cautious with her. Ikea trip today to get rest of bits for lodger - 2 lights and mattress topper...just need to have a tidy and cleanfor when she arrives.
Then to GP who confirms that I am moderately depressed so has given me some tabs...I'm hoping as a temp measure and just hope they will help. Just feel very flat/lack of effort/tired but having done nothing...he agreed that its hard to assess whether its stress or depression but regardless said it was no wonder in current situation which made me feel a bit better...so we shall see.
Did go to vet and got the 29 back from pdsa voucher and also got her dried food as she has one off wet food...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

Sorry to hear you arent 100%. Know what you mean about the similarity between depression and stress. The pills will help. They still give me a boost to help me through. It would be nice not to need them but needs must. Rather be functioning with support than floundering in denial. xx:j0

yes great post and very true but also very un me and I've never been diagnosed with depression in the past depite some fairly traumatic events...
No news from work so I have no idea on that one...your guess would be as good as mine!
I am giving madam burns and weaning her off the other stuff...its the best Ive found yet as high in protein, low in ash and you need less of it plus their coat demonstrates how good it is! Only problem is you can only get it from certain pet shops...thankfully one locally as like to support them instead of eveil tesco!

There ya go beanie a wee linky for you! Its devised by a vet and I used to use it but with 4 was very expensive but with 1 will be more manageable and you use less than with normal cat food. Shes ok...came back hyper and was quieter today, but still playful, and is asleep on my foot as I type...bless her she is definately a cat with attachment problems and follows me wherever I go in the house and will miow pityfully if not allowed to come!
Thanks penguin...its a horrible feeling...very "flat" and just cant be bothered which isnt like me as usually have a good balance of me time and people time but of late struggle to muster the energy for people; have been bit its been a huge effort...I'll get there and am thankful for such lovely family and friends, virtual and IRL!
Forgot to say lodger arrives next Friday so am getting ready!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Sorry to hear that you are feeling flat but hopefully the tablets will work.
I agree with Burns pet food being good..I have both of my dogs on burns and it's definitely a case of you get what you pay for with pet food.Tess my rottie had severe wet excsma and as soon as I put her on burns it cleared..my other dog toby also had allergies and as soon as put on burns was healthy.0 -
forgot to say beanie that if you emal them they'll send you a sample...
Ventured out but its awful and icy...in the end just went to chemist and wool shop. Finally found a pattern that is easy enough and will fit..the problem with being a weeble! Other than that just finishing bottling the wine and getting ready for lodger. Didnt get to ay money in as avement like an ice rink and really didnt fancy risking cracking my head open!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1!
