hi
good idea about getting your little one done, i never let my girls out of the house before their trip to the vets, but he did tell me of many a 'kitten' turning up for the op only to find that she was already preggers.
like you i'm watching leccy like a hawk, we spent 26 squid over the 12 days to the 1st, which isn't great as we've not even bothered with elec heating in the living room, we've just had the calor gas on, it's got to be loads cheaper.
we were given a special dispensation at our allotment today, they wanted us to get completely on top of it by the end of Feb but since we've had it we've had nowt but snow, ice and rain. Not the best weather for turning all the soil with. Glad the organiser was a bit reasonable about it.0 -
lt just noticed your new siggy lt!! Keep us posted! Isoke off to vet tomorrow as she is definately up for it ad I suspect ginger tom would be happy to oblige! Managed to get a PDSA voucher to cover part of costs so that helps.
Flipping heck lt how do they expect you to get ob top of it by feb - totally unreasonable - have had mine for ages and its a weed jungle but will be ok for a bit as just gave them back half, ack that a whole too much! Plan to go up this week and try to shift a bit more...loads of rubbish/brambles etc but need to get new loppers as some nasty so and so pinched mine!
Just back from knitting group which was nice - four people inclusing me and tw of those new so good that it was a few as able to talk more...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
i get the impression that we have what was a whole plot which was just left, and they've decided to split it into two, which works really well for me. I did think it was a big ask to get it completely done by the end of Feb, even with good weather and a week off in jan. Still hoping we get some slightly dryer weather in jan so that i can help OH there, he's got a few more weeks off than me so is planning on spending some time there.0

Get your thermals on then - its freezing, literally! Snow is coming here so no chance f digging but hoe to get some clearing done..
Isoke off at the vet. Definately the right decision as shes been most unhappy at not being allowed and and doing the cutteral cry which is a sure sign shes up for it!! Bless her - I hate leaving her there but needs must!
Flat is stinking as have lots of composting rubbish and think I'm going to have to take it out early as cant bear the thought of it the car!! Problem is that they sometimes threaten to fine you 50...dilemma!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
