  • she is KP!! Slept with me most of the night - an occasional play with my feet and lots of purring! Just what the doctor ordered! Alas same cannot be said for all residents...having a quiet day after not sleeping well - worried from extreme reaction how she will cope when Isoke leaves the confines of my room... Have friends for supper so will create sommat from storecupboard!! I am away on monday night to look after my godchildren for the night so neigbor will come and play with madam for me...she met her this am and loved her!!

I'm in bed with the lurgy at the mo, but OK apart from that babes. Isoke looks so like one of our cats, ans she has such a nice temperament. More like a teddy bear than a cat :p

Hope your visitors enjoy the meal, sounds yummy ;)

  • hi all,
Been away to look after godchildren or the nght - they grow so quickly!! Back to a puss cats who definately missed her mummy! Nowt like unconditional love...
I have a meeting in work on 29th so trying to make the best of the time in between. Lodger settling in and will be away for a few days. We have v. diff body temps though - although her radiators not working well prop so will have to bleed it tomorrow and see if that helps...
off to do more Christmas pressies!!

  • not much to report...meeting cant be on 29th as someone is unable to attend so waiting for a new date...Not spending money ok although got some wool today for christmas pressies that I'm making. Tomorrow will be car boot sale to try and get something that can be a spice rack and allotment as havent been for ages...dread to think hw high the weeds are...
Kniting like a madwoman - done two scarves and now onto a blanket and tea cosy!! Isoke settling in but had a trip to the vets as had ikky tummy so its a diet of chicken, scrambled eggs and cottage cheese!! Shes so cute though - currently fast asleep...
Radiator bleeding didnt work so plumber coming on Thurs to fix that and service it - I havent had it done since I moved in (over a decade ago!!) so sure it will be more efficient when its done plus my old plumber who had a break while his wife was poorly and is now back again so chuffed with that...
Weekend task is to investigate a savings account to transfer money into for the emergency fund...if work situation sorted will be able to pay one cc off in full which would be fab! Am beginning to absolutely loathe barclaycard who didnt set up a ddm, payment was late and they sent me a patronising letter about managing my account which is a flipping cheek seeing it was their error!!
