Ok, now we all know who everyone is, I can get on with telling you that as expected, Grumpy & Goblin have wasted no time in trying to boost their self esteem by demonstrating their superior rank & standing in Gropeys absence.

Their master plan was to concoct a new job description which informs me that I must complete all tasks as instructed by Grumpy, Gropey & Goblin.

I now have a whole range of pointless tasks to do which actually doesnt bother me in the slightest as it now gives me a legitimate reason to do the extra hours during the next 2 weeks.

    More pennies for me :D

Collected DD from camp, she thinks she's broken her finger when playing basket ball :(. I've strapped it to the ones either side & just hope it doesnt swell or go black.

We had to pop to Waitrose to get some more fruit & milk & somehow ended up spending £29.87 in there which means I only have £66.11 left of my £200 a month Grocery/Hopusehold budget :o

I received 2 x £2 coins in home-job wages which means I only need 3 more until I can pay in. I've topped up all the cash funds & they're looking healthy :

Trips & treats = £ 220 ( will try to get to £250 by hol time)
    DDs clubs = £ 100 ( first 2 months PGL trip sorted :D)
    Childcare = £ 120 ( another £25 & that's half term paid for)

I've just had paid £3 into my PayPal account so that will help towards any more mad ebay moments, although I havent logged in there for ages.

I think its best I just dont go there at all, i am rubbish at resisting temptation :o so true to my word about selling or giving stuff away by the end of this ,I have filled a charity bag with clothes, books, films, toys & bric a brac & it is due to be collected tomorrow.

Kitty seems to be responding well to being treated like a dog & whistled at to come home at night :D. He's happy to curl up on the floor in my room & although I make sure he knows where the litter tray is, he hasnt used it yet, seems to prefer to wait until I unlock his catflap in the morning. I'm much happier not having to deal with corpses, it was upsetting me more than I was willing to admit - I was wondering how to get the cat rehomed & DD not to hate me forever :(.

My plan for the next 3 days is to get all the direct debits, standing orders & credits for my new account sorted & then I'm going to try to work out a new budget.

My bed is calling me now & I just need to get through tomorrow, then another 2 weeks before I can relax properly.

    bye for now
    xx

Hi Lula! Found you - actually, I subscribed yesterday, but didn't have time to post before RL got in the way. I'm glad you gave a resume of work-work to Taxi, that caught me up too - tho I'm going to have to read this one through from the beginning this evening, I love the way you post.

I'm glad you like Waitrose! I was at the Waitrose orchards the day after The Rave, and let me tell you they were beautiful, in a very rural part of the country, just near the River Test. Sigh .... last weekend was great!

Hello Karmacat & welcome to my humble - ish Quest ( all depends on how inflated my ego is at any given time really :D)

It's lovely of you to join us & I so enjoyed meeting you as well last weekend, I do remember you saying that you were heading off to Waitrose land for the memorial, do hope it all went well.

You really shouldnt read all the way back, I'm sure it's about 50% of me moaning & ranting, 40% about all the naughty things I've been buying & maybe 10% about moneysaving :o.

Thanks for the decluttering support Taxi - I do need to be told quite sternly ;) the bag was out on the path by 7.50pm & had gone when we got in, it's ok once I get started ...
Work is all over now until monday & thank goodness for that :j. Grumpy slunk off home about 10.30 - having had heavy night - which is all very well but not very professional when the other Boss is away too. Goblin did her usual ' just popping up to Sainsbugs' routine which took an hour.

She makes me laugh because she always says how surpised she was that it took her so long as there were so many people in there :rotfl:. It didnt make me laugh so much when she then decided to take her hour long lunch break back & sat at her desk reading a newspaper & refusing to answer the phone . It meant that for 2 hours I had to take all the calls & not get on with my own work.

I often wish that I worked for myself then I wouldnt have to deal with all that petty power trip stuff ... then I remember that I did work on my own for years & apart from going slightly loopy due to too much solitary confinement I still managed to moan , so it wouldnt really make much difference :D.

Actually that was worse because I used to go to collect DD from school & have to chat with the tiresome mothers-!!!!! just for a bit of human contact - tragic eh :o:rotfl:

Anyway, It has been a NSD today :j but tomorrow I must go into town & collect my next set of contacts & that will mean money for parking & I also need to get some goodies for a picnic on sunday. We're off to visit some lovely peeps who have been restoring & refurbing a gorgeous Dutch barge, and I cannot wait to see it as it's about a year since we last went. It's moored near an alpaca farm which just makes it even more fab.

We also need to go & visit some relatives tomorrow afternoon & they have requested hobnobs so I must make some of them too.

Other than that it's all about washing, chores & making a start on those Direct Debit / Bank changes.

I'm off to wash some strawberries now so will love you & leave you,

    bye for now
    xx

It did, Lula, it was lovely - jazz band, fresh cooked Caribbean barbecue food, it was amazing.

Erm, thats why I'll be reading it :rotfl:

I declutter! I'm up to 55 items in the last month or so on the Great Declutter thread :o I used to have a life, and then I decided to move house....

Ug, tho, I don't envy you those "colleagues". Much nicer to think about HM hob nobs, and barbecues, alpacas and strawberries :)

Schmooze? Noo.... remember my reputation precedes me... :p

Or was that a euphemism for something? ;)

You should be complimented - you have many things to compliment...
"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
"We were born and raised in a summer haze." Adele 'Someone like you.'
"Blowing your mind, 'cause you know what you'll find, when you're looking for things in the sky."
    OMD 'Julia's Song'
