Lula, you are doing great! Souk and Sarahb have said it all, but you're holding down two jobs, a house, a car, looking after your DD's and your family, managing your debts and all your accounts/pots of money....you are NOT a frugal failure!!! :naughty: Unexpected expenses always come up, but that's what they are...unexpected. It feels like two steps forward and one step backwards at times, but you are working hard, all your effort is taking you in the right direction and you will get there :A

Hope you're enjoying your chilled morning with Martin, you deserve it! :)

    Take care

    Gwenx

    Hi Lula

Don't you dare be so hard on yourself - I agree with the others! Remember - you are F Fabulous :j - and don't let anybody (including yourself :p) tell you otherwise

Hope you enjoyed 'my' James :D

Why am I calling him Martin?? I'm either confused about his surname or I'm that obsessed with MSE!

Hmmmm, it has been a very stressful day here in Lulaville ha ha :)

I woke up at 10, just in time for James ;), made a big coffee, some toast, put the washing in & went back to bed for a bit.

I've spent most of the day switching between here & the Faith website :o. I did have to pop to the shops earlier to stock up on wine as I just cannot drink heavy white stuff without feeling ill. Imagine my horror when I discovered that the co op was bereft of rose Pink Elephant
Fortunately I found something very similar & can confirm that is very drinkable. Havent been in there for a couple of weeks & noticed plenty of bargains so might stay local for a while again. It seems that using the car to go shopping means I just throw stuff in the trolley & that needs to stop.

The queen of frugality miss sarahb has tonight saved me from spending another £102 on something I dont actually NEED :A. Instead I have emptied my ISA & paid another £100 off the Barclaycard so my total debt is now £4948.03 :D.

Without this site & all the fabulous & supportive peeps on it I would stand almost no chance of ever being debt free as I am rubbish at self deprivation :o
