Yeh, pj's are the way forward am slightly ashamed to admit that we only got dressed because my Dad & Grandmother were visiting , maybe next year we can go all day :rotfl:

As to the NSDs it doesnt actually mean that I save much as I spend such hideous amounts on the Spend Days :rolleyes:. Hoping that will all change next year though as I've pledged to be frugal with sarah _pale_.

I've really not behaved like a DFw for the last month, just been reading a few threads over on Old Style & realize just how lazy I am, and also how there are some things I just will not do just to save a few pennies. Grating a bar of soap to then mix it up with all the previous bars that have been grated to make new ones, what the heck is that all about .

hope everyone is well & happy ?

All good here, the place is a tip but I dont care .

Had a nice day yesterday with rellies & then came home & spent the eveing with Johnny & his pirate outfit :heartpuls.

We took DD1 to work earlier & will be collecting her later on too, then tomorrow she's off to her bf's for a few days so DD gets to tidy her room again :rotfl:

My lil sis is visiting tomorrow then we have the rest of the week to ourselves. Have promised DD that Bessfriend can come over which means I get to potter in peace.

Havent spent anything for days now & am aiming to keep it that way until the new year. DD asked for sausages earlier & I almost headed to the shop out of habit, but then remembered we have so much food to use, so we've mad a huge pot of soup instead

I'm eager to start being frugal & fabulous & think this will naturally lead to my regaining my preferred shape & weight.

Sounds like you're having a fab time, Lula! I've had a lovely couple of days, shopping, watching films, going walking... Must get on with some jobs tomorrow though :rolleyes:

Totally agree with you about the soap...life is too short to grate soap...:D

Sounds like you're having a great time Lula - what is soap anyway? I use liquid soap so that I don't have to cope with dried hard bits of soap..liquid soap is the way to go:cool: Managed some more NSDs and have exceeded my quota of 8:cool: Need to go to bank tomorrow and get some food - not looking forward to it either as we have been promised a huge dumping of snow:eek:

Hello again lovelies,

the title says it all :drool:. My fab sis came to vist today bringing with her a bottle of their homemade Sloe Gin. It can be [STRIKE]drunk [/STRIKE]sipped alone, or quaffed as per Gordon with some tonic. It seems to be more potent than Gordon .

The 4 day run of NSDs will finish tomorrw as I am taking DD to town to buy her some new school shoes - hopefully in the sale) & trainers & she will also be spending her book tokens. I dont intend to spend anything on myself, I have plenty of lovely Goddessing Goods, I was given perfume as a gift, have ordered boots & shoes, dont [STRIKE]want[/STRIKE] need any clothes, & frankly I loathe manic sales unless searching for something specific.

I should be safe

Tonight is the first relaxing night I've had for ages. We collected DD1 from work at 9.30 pm yesterday & then ended up chatting until about 2.30 am. I didnt get up until 10.30 today so am taking my resting very seriously .

I havent opened any of the wine (4 bottles left) or the Disaronno or Baileys so will be going into the new year fully equipped with alcohol & I have also hidden 3 boxes of chocolates so think I have that need covered too.

I am bursting with enthusiasm for being Frugal & Fabulous ... bring it on

My Faith delivery came today :j

The brown boots look better on than in the pic & fit perfectly :j
The black shoes are just gorgeous & on my feets as I type as they are higher than I am used to so need to practice for wearing to work.

The black boots are not perfect, one seems a bit tight & DD hates them, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I will wear them for a few days at home & then decide. They were only £45 as in the sale but must not sit at the bottom of the wardrobe as so many have before

I've actually had a shoe clearout & got rid of any that I dont wear because they torture my feet, even though they are beautiful. Going are the black patent wedges that are just a bit too big, going are the black glittery strappy sandals that I cannot walk in, & definitely going are the black boots I bought off ebay, because the front is so wide they make me look as though I have webbed feet

I took DD into town earlier to spend her gift tokens & bought her a new lunch box at £4.99 then new pair of school shoes at £32 & new trainers at £ 28 also spent £2.20 on parking but refused to buy sausage rolls, cookies, ice creams or sweets . I did go into TK Maxx but walked out again almost immediately as it was too busy. I hate sales crowds :mad:.

The good news is that I got a £2 coin in change which can go in my pot. I'm not counting them this year, just saving them & then when I'm debt free will open the pot & treat myself to something fab.

The [STRIKE]diet[/STRIKE] healthy eating for life plan begins tomorrow & I am looking forward to it, so sick of food

Just waiting for wages to hit my account then I can make end of year payments to the CCs ...

Not wishing to be a killjoy but tight boots are the worst. I've got a pair and only wear them when I know I won't be walking too far which is ridiculous for boots :eek: (sadly I find this to be very acceptable for evening shoes but as I take public transport everywhere means my super high super fabulous wedges hardly get an airing!!!)
