I've been spending like a crazy woman today

First stop was Primarni where I bought a pair of work trousers, 2 work cardigans, a work top and a coat for the mahoosive sum of £ 38.73 :D.

Next stop was Boots where I spent a rather scary £ 56.35 on skincare, hair stuff etc but I absolutely racked up the points as I had loads of points vouchers & there was also a special points event on as well. I also got another freebie bag full of makeup & skincare goodies which will be useful for presents. Only annoying thing was that in order to gain some more points I picked up a certain mascara & only when I got home did I realise it was bright turquoise . Serves me right for being greedy & as it was £6 I would return it but just realised cosmetics cant be returned so would be happy to post to any readers if they would get use out of it :D. Karma didnt completely kick my @rse tho as in the bag of freebies was another mascara :T.
I then completed my spending frenzy with a pair of boots that were £60 but thanks to a one day 20% sale were actually only £48 .

I also have to confess that all this frivolous spending was on CC3  ... but before you sharpen the knives let me finish ; I get cashback for spending on this card ;), I have already transferred £50 from my current account towards payment & will transfer another £100 on monday so it wont cost any extra at all.

Feeling giddy with excitement I then went to Waitrose on the way home & stocked up on the 2 for £3 organic pasta sauces ( now have 12 in the cupboard :rotfl:) & bags of pasta as well as a few other bits & pieces. Total spend in Waitrose was £25.35 & I got 2 x £2 coins in my change :D.

Next move was to unload shopping & then run to pay in another £20 worth of £2 coins into the projects / emergency account.

I havent bought any wine & am going to try to have a week without it as although I've got my eating under control I think the drinking has ruined any calories saved from not stuffing food into mouth .

I plan to have a cheap weekend by having a big decluttering, tidying, washing & cleaning fest. I can see dust bunnies everywhere & the washing mountain needs to be addressed :o.

Must now go collect DD & ponder on how best to tackle her room ...

If the masacara is still sealed I'd take it back and ask them to exchange it for the right colour. They can only say no and it is a very easy mistake to make.

Ha Ha, knew we'd convert you eventually :rotfl:

Boots are plain black suede knee high with a low heel ... I have a bit of a suede fetish :o now need a bag to go with them , of course :D

Chucking it down here & a big tidy up in progress :( Meant to be meeting my sis for a walk, DD1 meant to be coming over too but neither are answering their phones or texts so it could all go very wrong & we end up staying at home & eating the cakes that DD wants to make

It's not even funny Lula... I have been picking up bags and putting them on  I've never so much as glanced at them before  And in Debenhams the other day I actually stood there stroking a bag saying to nicnacnoo 'oh my god it's just sooo gorgeous':eek::eek: As for the shoes I've not tried any on but I've been looking at all kinds of shoes I would never normally look at, even ones with heels (I can't even walk in them!) and imagining myself wearing them when I'm slimmer :eek:
The other day in Debenhams though I really was thinking of you lot and thinking what have they done to me? :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh ya boots sound lovely, I love knee highs, not in the same way a SBC though :p Of course you need a new bag to go with them, I'm sure you don't have [STRIKE]ten[/STRIKE] one to go with them already :D

I'd planned on a pyjama day but Mother's just called asking me to take her shopping and she doesn't have a car at the moment so I said I'll take her but I'm staying in my pj's and will wait in the car for her. But I've since realised I need teabags (only about 40 left lol), milk, cordial and youghurts so I think I'll get dressed so I can go in and add my shopping to her basket ,all in the name of MSE ;)

I hope you enjoy your day whatever you end up doing. And if you are forced to stay in and eat DD's cake then please have one for me :D

    Hello my lovelies,

Well done on the decorating Shoe Gal :A fancy doing mine too ;)
Bowski, this new bag love-in sounds quite serious :rotfl:And I actually dont have that many bags & have been hunting for a black suede one for literally years, they must be very out at the moment & I confess to b being very fussy about my bags, they have to be just right :o.

Well, I have yet again spent most of the day cleaning & tidying  but I really feel that we've achieved a lot. DDs room is looking fab & she has finally relinquished a lot of her old stuff so I have more bags for the charity shop.

I met up with my sis & we walked to the see the bench we have organised in memory of our mum  It is in the exact location that we requested & is beautiful. It's a hand crafted chunky oak one with a lovely 3 Bears feel about it & will last for years :).

Thankfully, the earlier monsoon style rain & wind had blown away so we didint even get wet, but we did have a good splash about in some puddles :D. We were very hungry on the way home so we popped into the co op for some instant sustenance total cost of £6.56.

DD1 came over about 3 hours later than planned but managed to stay for some dinner, a bath & took the old stereo away with her while off to a party, thereby saving me a trip to the tip ;).

I've done all the washing, ironing, cleaning, tidying etc so am prepared for the week ahead. I've had my bath & done my nails so dont have to panic in the morning. I've even organised what clothes I will wear & set them out  this cannot last, it's exhausting being this organised .

Checked the bank balance & although I was planning to pay off the money spent on clothes & at Boots, I remembered that I've just whacked over £400 back on the Barclaycard with highest interest rate so have just paid £63.34 off that. I am now in the tidying up the balance mindset & as my DFD now increased to 29 months I need to pay off every little penny I can.

Still no word from Ipsos as to where my reward voucher is  will be really hacked off if they dont sort it out soon.

Dont panic if no updates for a couple of days, I'm expecting life to be a bit manic until I get into the rhythm of new job

Is this organised person the same woman? Has the real Lula been abducted by aliens and have they sent a substitute to fool us?

If the OP is the real Lula - then good on yer for getting organised. Who mentioned handbags? I am lusting after a new handbag, I bought a lilac patent leather one a couple of month or so ago and now I want another one:rolleyes: I need some new riding boots (not that I use them for riding) as these are starting to wear out on the soles and they are starting to split..but they are just soooo comfy:rolleyes:
