The other way is to dry them like sandpaper, get the kids to use them, then cunningly use fabric conditioner the next time...
That is the method i use at the minute- well minus the fabric conditioner-i tell them it keeps the skin healthy:D:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Brings that lovely red glow to the skin. And if you make it really rough, it turns the towels pink too.

You're probably right about peeps tumble drying their linen, now that I dont have one, I forget that other peeps do . My towels dry soft on a windy day like today but can be somewhat 'crisp' when I have to use the radiators :rotfl:. Was pondering on whether I could pop to launderette to dry them in winter ... suppose that rather depends on how much debt I have paid off
.
Back to the nub of the matter ...
Have checked my bank account & it seems that Tax Credit has gone into the old account Grrrrrr so I've had to do more maths & work out how much to leave in there + an extra £30 to cover anything I may have forgotten ( rather likely considering I 'forgot' how much I'd used the Barclaycard ) & have now transferred the remnants to the new account from which I shall pay an 'as yet undisclosed' amount to the Barclaycard. All I'm saying is that it was rather more than I had expectedbut it will be gone by the end of this month.
How many more times am I going to do this before I finally clear all the debt :mad:0 -

I read somewhere- it is not how many times we are knocked down that matter-but it is the times we get back up that do
Keep going, it will be something to look back on in the future and you will be amazed at how you coped.

Hurray for the last monday that I have to attend work-job for 3 weeks & home-job for 2 weeks :j
Q) How excited am I ?
A) Almost as excited as I am about being on the receiving end of a free delicious chocolate cheescake voucher with love (& hideous calories) from Waitrose
Q) How chuffed am I at receiving said free chocolate cheesecake ?
A) Almost as chuffed as I am at receiving the £10 Amazon voucher for completing surveys.
Q) How much had I actually racked up on Barclaycard ?
A) £745.90p :eek::o:eek::o:eek:
Well, that's quite enough of that little Q&A session ... I had to buy something at the co op this morning on the way to taking DD to camp & got a £2 coin in my change so when we got home I added it to the other 9 little coins & whizzed them straight to the post office to pay in, pausing only briefly at the cashpoint to withdraw £100 from secret quidco drip acccount in order to pay that in too.
Completed home-job work with only the occasional break for some text flirting with lovely guy at work :blushing:.
Managed to release yet another mouse from the cats jaws, had a chat with fabulous friend :A & have now made a payment of £245.90 to the Big Bad Barclaycard so all in all quite a succesful day .
Not sure I can top all that tomorrow, but will do my best0 -
Sounds very fabby...no work and chocolate cheesecake yummy...what more does a girl need xx0
