Grumpy was rather 'pervy' today & is becoming somewhat bolder in his declarations that I dont know what I'm missing .

Just tell him you're missing what he has missing, and so you're still on the look out.

When I went to collect DD & the fire brigade were there - letting all the kids try out the hose ( I did try to get in line to have go too ;) but DD wouldnt let me)

That's a grounding offence. Never keep a woman away from handling a fireman's hose - the sooner she learns that, the better...

Stupid f***wit xbf sent an email today, 'reminding' me to watch the meteor shower tonight . Was tempted to reply that if it was likely to land on his home then I'd be in the front row & cheering. I cannot explain just how boring it is to have him crop up every so often -what a sad git. It annoys me that it annoys me :o.

But *why* does it annoy you in the first place? The anger doesn't affect him, only you.

It annoys me that when I go to my deleted messages his are lurking in there.

    So purge them.

It annoys me that he cant just move on & forget about me,

He had you jumping to his tune, and you're annoyed that he can't seem to give up on you jumping around everytime he sends and email? Look over there - a stripey leopard...

becasue I do forget all about him until he reappears in my deleted box & then I have to wonder what the email says & read it.

Self control. What are you looking for in these emails? An apology?

I suppose it's because I have moved on & then when he does reappear it drags me back to the past & reminds me that he existed & how much I let him abuse me when I was so vulnerable

'Let' is the wrong word, and you know it.

Of course he's going to go away. He's stripey leopard now...

    Well, you did ask .

I did indeed. Because I wanted to know. The question is now: Can you ignore him, given he exists in this world? Or must you always be hanging on his every missive?

    And why?

    Alright Doctor Z,

I'll make myself comfy on your couch & spill my guts shall I ?

I did just type a lengthy response, but then realised it just doesnt matter as I really dont care about his existence at all, and anyway, I have a new stalker to deal with *sighs*

I'd find it really hard, in fact impossible to delete his emails without reading them.

For me, curiosity wins out everytime and I know curiosity killed the cat and there is some other saying about earwiggers never hear good of themselves but I'm way too nosy / curious to let things go....
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

It was pure curiosity that made me read that one .

When I was being bombarded with them on a regular basis it was easy to just delete without reading ... the previous one to this was abusive & threatening & unsettled me, I forgot all about him & then seeing that one just made me wonder what he had to say this time & why he still bothers when he's had absolutely no response or even acknowledgment for so long I cant even remember how long.

    Lesson learnt :o

You needn't say anything to me. You only have to think about it.

I'm only asking questions. The answers will come from you.

Gropey? Just tell him he doesn't earn enough. His ego will never recover from that.

I just take the view that what possible gem of wisdom and insight will come from an idiot?

Not all ex's are idiots, but if you know they are - why are you wasting your life reading what they're saying? You may as well hang on the every word of Jordan.

    No brighter, but far richer...

I agree with all the above, but it is hard not to get sucked in. I think you just need to remember how fabulous you are at all times XXX
