The criteria for a blue badge is very strict, and temporarily being on crutches would not qualify you for one. Whilst I appreciate the area was not busy at that time, if everyone took your attitude it would have caused a problem.
It is up to you if you pay the fine, but in future, just use the spaces that you are entitled to use.Gone ... or have I?0 -

Buying a CD wasnt a priority that day was it, now really.
Whilst I sympathise with your condition, please do not do it again.
Having said all that - Dont pay the 'invoice' they will eventually get sick of you ignoring them.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Never pay any tickets issued by private parking companies, they are all illegal as the fines they issue for parking 'violations' are way above the losses of the business or person involved.
IMO if there are plenty of disabled spaces available then it doesn't matter anyway.Trev. Having an out-of-money experience!
C'MON! Let's get this debt sorted!!0 -
I have a blue badge and it's people like you who (will only be 5 minutes)that take up vital spaces, pay your fine and park somewhere else
Given he explained his current situation where does your ignorant aggressiveness come into it?
Oh, big deal -- you have a BB. It has no value in a private car park whatsoever.
I choose not to bother with one personally.
Makes perfect sense for him to have used the space and now all he has is a piece of rubbish paper from a bunch of clowns.
Here's a thought. Why don't you leave it to Tescos to decide on such matters (as they could if they could be bothered). If they weren't happy they could have refused admission/service? Nope, they choose to use a ppc that will probably send a stream of threatening and intimidating letters.
Thanks for your views. As a result I will be making a point of parking in disabled spaces in supermarkets from now on ---- just until the retailers start taking some proper responsibility.

I wonder just how strict?....what criteria do they use in England, in Northern Ireland I understand its if you have a severe heart complaint or are unable to walk a certain distance...I'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j
Those who can do, those who can't, come to me for lessons:cool:0 -
A disabled parking space, or a parent and child parking space, in a private car park, is just another parking space. Whilst it may not be morally right, anyone using the car park can park there. These spaces are simply unenforcable. I'm not saying I do this, as I don't, but that's the legal stance with private car parks...
If you get invoiced for it, just ignore it...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

It appears not to be a fine but an unenforceable invoice.
Whatever the views of people as to the parking, demanding money in this way is to be commended.0 -

Lots don't have a buggy on the diagram, just and represenation of large and small person. Grandkids would be fine. I wonder what the consensus is on the kids age for parking in these spaces.good point, wonder how it works for the mum and kiddie spaces?...does it apply to your grandkids, must you have a buggy like the little diagram?0
