To tri-directional staring? Probably not. :rotfl: But it's always been the way and I'll just keep glaring at things until something else blinks! ;) (I'm generally very good at the old staring! ;))

Interestingly, was just on Facebook where I popped by the profile of an old coursemate who has a very interesting job. I looked on the website of the organisation for whom he works and they have jobs the sound like I would stand a chance at getting them, and which would help people, which is something I would like to do in life (that, and create something beautiful). I'm thinking of applying. Don't know how it would pan out for me as it would involve speaking French to a VERY high level (I think) and I'm VERY out of practice, but I guess they can only say no. The job would be *very* international (not yet decided if that would be a good/bad thing, and I wouldn't necessarily have to apply straight away as the website says that they are always looking for people for this job role, but I guess it's worth bearing in mind. :) It's not media or anthing, but it would quite possibly make me happy. :):)

    Cognito ergo apply for jobs.
Fillus outus the job application forms ergo existus.
    Etc. etc.

Quite. Apart from a limb or somesuch...the job description says 'possible dangerous locations'. Quite how dangerous I've not yet any idea, but still...:rotfl:

Will leave it until tomorrow in any case.

Cor, that Radish is well bossy! ;)

Right, I have NOT applied for the job for the following reasons:

    1) Work experience in the industries I want to get into is the first priority: I really feel that it is do or die at the minute. If I don't try to do it now, it will never happen.

    2) Said job is not in industry I want to get into, but something different which I think would make me happy in other ways, but as the website says, they are *always* looking for people with those skills, so I know that if I don't apply now and wait a month or two, all is not lost. I don't think I can say the same for the work experience.

    3) This job would mean that I would pretty much ALWAYS be working abroad: I would have to go where they send me, whenever they want. I've been there and done that during my uni years/just after, and I don't really want a job where I *have* to be abroad: I don't want to come back if I leave it in a few years to realise that I am completely out-of-synch with everyone I know and love and that their lives have changed and moved on without me. I wouldn't rule it out, though, but I'm not prepared to do it just yet.

    4) At this very minute the new batch of graduates will be flooding the market and with them being that bit more up-to-date with their language skills, they will probably have the edge over me. In that respect, I'm definitely better to wait a few months until they've either been accepted/rejected as they might look at me more seriously.
