Hmm...have decided to pay my car savings money off my CC for interest purposes, and recoup it later in the year.

I just broke the lid to my mum's JML halogen cooker, so I bet that's another £50 down the pan while I replace it. I wouldn't mind, but I rate it as rubbish myself. :(;)

I'm not sure how many pages back I'll have to go for this answer, so I'll just ask ;)

Pickle, why do you have to use horribly expensive shampoo? As a chap I don't understand these things and get by with whatever the cheapest generic anti-dandruff shampoo is...

I was quite happy doing so until it got into an absolutely horrible state and the only thing that seems to relieve it is, alas, the expensive stuff. Come back the days when Tresemme and Sunsilk were my hair's best friends, I say!

 Have just locked myself out of my internet banking and A&L have told me it will take SEVEN TO TEN DAYS to send me a new one!

Talk about topping off a bad day...am FUMING with work. I am SO glad it's the end of my working week that it is untrue. And I've just managed to drop a large glass full of coke and break it all over the living room floor.

    Bad times.

And F'ing Hell re A&L - another example of their superb customer service and ultra fast support - NOT

Have a piece of millionaires shortbread and an alcohol infused coke (in a plastic cup!) Here - catch!

    *Catches gratefully*

Cheers, Red - you're a star! Just what I need, even though it will need burning up at the gym tomorrow. ;)

I've just been thinking that I've broken two glass things in two days, so perhaps there's a third one to come (according to the saying), but I just realised that a lens popped out of one of my pairs of glasses the other day, so here's hoping that the end of my glass-breaking streak!

Must admit to being pretty gobsmacked at how long it takes to get a code out of A&L and I think I will be glad to get rid of them when the time comes: in the meantime I will stick with them and abuse their free £200 overdraft with glee, and look for the next current account opportunity in a vulture-like way. :p I'm glad I never ditched my HSBC account when they told me to do so, else I think things would be unbearable: as it is, I can always go back the the old faithful. :D

I think you have met the broken glass requirement now hon!

I need A&L because they gave me £2k o/d but I still have First Direct account and will definately leave A&L as soon as I can, they are crappers!

Step away from all windows today (just in casey!)

  • Aw pickle, hopefully the 10 days is just the expected time frame and you'll be all sorted by this time next week.
