OK, so I have been partially successful in my new-month aims today:
~ Walk 5KM three times a week (not today, tomorrow)
~ Do 15 sit-ups a day (will do before bed)
~ Practice music everyday (spent that time preparing my month aims today)
~ Bring work to lunch every working day (wholewheat tuna pasta :A )
~ Turbolist all the items I have to sell for free listings day (no time today)
~ Join mystery shopping websites (no time today)
~ Read two books (started 'The Money Diet')
~ No drinking coke or eating chocolate/other sweeties (forgot when came home and mum offered me nice new sweets. Ate some, then remembered, so washed teeth to put me off eating any more.)
~ Not buy any more toiletries (:A, in fact NSD! :j)
As well, I checked my e-mails when I got home and I got an e-mail saying that I had been accepted for the A&L account. _party_ I'm not sure if that includes the CC or not as the e-mail just said I had been accepted for the account, and I'd had to tick boxes on that application to ask for it, so let's wait and see. The CC is the biggie for me, so fingers crossed until I hear (hopefully soon). Please call me 'Pickle'

Pretty much, although I'm not sure about the CC and am awaiting the paperwork to hit the doormat to see what the situation is there. They said that they are drawing it up, so I'm hoping to hear something this week.
In other news...am just in from work. Am typing in bed and am going to read a bit more of Martin's 'The Money Diet' before bed. I'm powering through it, but haven't had half as much inclination to read Jo Brand's 'It's Different for Girls', which I need to get through as 'La Dame aux Camelias' is waiting for me!
Anyway, had to buy some more nail course stuff today and it came to over £60! OK, I didn't have to buy all of it, but I went down the clearance aisle and there was a lot of stuff (refills of stuff I need) which was very cheap and I couldn't say no. I only bought stuff that I knew I would definitely use and that was a bargain, but some of the stuff isn't cheap. I was particularly impressed with one very large bottle of stuff which was previously £40+ which must have had a little bit spilled out of it and was reduced to £20, considering that a tiny bottle of the same stuff was £10!  Honestly, I had better become the demon nail-setter of Deansgate or else I'll be broke!
Good news in work as am working pretty much full time this month, but need to get other stuff sorted. Am going to go now so I can get up early and get applications etc. done in the morning.
Also, thought I had a ninja whinger on Ebay before as I made a mistake listing an item's postage as special delivery instead of first class. The buye only paid 1st class postage and sent me an e-mail about it, but (luckily) she was ok about it. A feedback knockback is the last thing I needed. Phew!
Nighty night and let's hope A&L give me the CC!Please call me 'Pickle'

Love your attitude for the merry month of March.
Just found your 'book' thread and am subscribing as I am so guilty of buying more than I can possibly read each month.DC.

Hey Pickle - good new about the hours at work - I'm sure March/April will work out better than February, your monthus horribilis!
Getting back into reading is a good idea and while it was one of my resolutions for 2010 it can prove surprisingly difficult to find the time, can't it? I've just finished reading Chocky (some John Wyndham light relief) and have started a collection of short stories by John Steinbeck. I blame the internet for ruining my concentration - I used to be able to read two {short} novels in a day!
How goes the exercise?0 -

*Curtsies* Why thank you, DC: now get over to the 'No more buying book until I've read the ones I've already bought' thread and start doing damage to your pile!
And might I add, I've had a positive attitude, but it doesn't mean I've had positive actions in all areas so far...baby steps, as I'm told...I do hope to do everything I had hoped for by the end of the month, though.
Best of luck with the books! :TPlease call me 'Pickle'
