InaPickle getting out of a pickle!

Goodness gracious me I have been busy for a day and have just spent ten minutes catching up with the world of pickle, I can probably help with the quidco a&l thing, wait until you find out if your accepted and then it will track and then when you have all the paperwork through I got an e-mail requesting verification and you just need to put in account number and name on account etc and then they release the funds :T ours has only just come through and it was a few weeks back that OH opened account. One thing to bear in mind you have to use their switching service to get the full whack of cashback but it has been relatively straight-forward the two times we have done it.
Hope it all goes ok.

Thanks, emmie. Your positive comments about the whole process has been what has convinced me to go ahead with it, as I've been afraid of getting knocked back cos I currently earn so little (<£10,000 p.a.). Most places don't seem to want to know unless you are earning a lot, but given how little they will accept you for the bank account, I might stand a chance. If it happens, there will be a big party at Pickle Towers, and it will make things sooooo much easier as I won't need to pay any interest on anything for 12 months, but I can only cross my fingers and hope (and maybe say a little prayer). Here goes nothing! Please call me 'Pickle'

Wayhay! I just logged into Quidco to see if I could see anything worth seeing and it it tracking the A&L transaction. Phew! It will amount to nothing if they don't accept me, but it's a start! :jPlease call me 'Pickle'

Right....start of the new month. White rabbits and all that...
Haven't heard back from A&L, although 09.30 doesn't exactly mean they are tarrying.
Am thinking about what I want to achieve this month (it's the start of the new 31 day challenge). I need to get fit, lose weight, stop eating carp (so much for Lent so far), practice music every day, keep using up toiletries, make my way through my books, Ebay everything within sight (am going to put one or two slightly more valuable items up on Ebay and Turbolist everything else for a free listings day, of which there currently seems to be one a month). tidy room, get a better job (or the work experience I applied for ages ago and have heard nothing about yet ), and keep bringing lunches to work to save money. I also need to get to grips with more MSE-ing in the form of mystery shops, matched betting etc. In short, exactly what I needed to do last month and the month before that!
Anyway, I best get on with it. I've just realised that I need to take my expensive trousers to get their hem let up and dry cleaned in anticipation of further job interviews. More expense. Grr...
P.S. Project of the month: Shaun the Sheep photo album. Please call me 'Pickle'

White rabbits? I can't believe that it's March already!
That's an impressive to do list you've got there Pickle, I'd recommend chopping it up into chunks to avoid feeling swamped. I know that a lot of people on the DFW boards set themselves daily lists to keep on track of challenges etc. - do you think there would be any benefit to you in coming up with a monthly list that set you week by week challenges? I tend to use these myself and link in financial/life success with rewards - e.g. 'if I wash the floors that I can't be bothered doing I can go out for a (cheap) coffee in the afternoon...'
I have joined you in the not eating carp and am currently starving! Before I realised that I was a bit too portly I used to have two small breakfasts a day as I leave the house very early and am normally starving by mid morning. From this week on, however, I'm just ignoring the hunger pains, as it's only another couple of hours 'til lunch. I've been told that your stomach shrinks over time if you eat less - wish it would hurry up already0 -
I was just about to suggest the same ..putting it in chunks.
That is a great big list..good luck with it.0 -
I've kind of broken it down a bit on the 31 day challenge board:
~ Walk 5KM three times a week (hard to fit in round my work timetable)
~ Do 15 sit-ups a day (start small...)
~ Practice music everyday (15-30 mins, more if possible)
~ Bring work to lunch every working day (4/7 this week, won't know more til later today)
~ Turbolist all the items I have to sell for free listings day (or put them on Amazon/Green Met)
~ Join mystery shopping websites
~ Read two books
~ No drinking coke or eating chocolate/other sweeties
~ Not buy any more toiletries
That'll keep me busy! If funds permit (unlikely) I also have to try my hand at matched betting and make up a photo album I've been threatening to do for ages.
Hmm. So that's Pickle out of trouble for the next month, then. Please call me 'Pickle'
