It really is a dilema pickle, to buy or not to buy, as we are currently writing on a mse forum I feel obliged to say 'resist the temptation to spend' but as a fellow lady who has trouble finding boots that fit (mainly due to the fact that left foot is size 4 and right foot is size 6
) I think you should take them, my only concern is that if they are a bit tight at home when trying them on then they will surely cause blisters with prolonged wear, could you try and wear them constantly around the house to see if they give a bit?
Total Debt: [STRIKE]£24,359.79[/STRIKE] £16,452
debt reduced by 32%

I have thought about that and I would do it, only we have mainly wooden floorboards meaning I would mark the soles and then I couldn't bring them back. I think I might have to leave them., but better than I would feel if I bought them and they kept rubbing and I couldn't wear them.

I suppose on the bright side at least you are ideally placed to spy a better pair at work and while you are waiting for the perfect pair to be made maybe you can put aside a little bit of money from your wages for such an eventuality making them a guilt free treat.

I have just read this thread from the beginning and what a up and down time you have had.
Personally I wouldn't buy the boots as the course is more important to your future and when you have that high flying job you can have as many expensive boots that your heart desires.0 -

 Taxi!
Thanks and nope, I'm not going to buy them, but next year I plan to have enough money set aside to buy myself TWO beautiful pairs (if I see any I like enough!). I can't really afford them, but even more seriously, I'm not sure the heel would not rub and there's no way I'm paying that much for something which might not fit properly and therefore won't get worn much. And as you point out, I have other expenses such as the nail course.
This MSE-ing is evidently having an effect.:eek: :A
