That's a relief that they let you back in! Woohoo. Now you just have to crack on and get it finished!

Yeah...s'nothing really! ;) Just need to get a functioning plan in place:am workng FT this week, plus need to get a few runs in, so need to get a plan in.

In further news, I got paid yesterday, but think I'm back to broke today as I think that the majority of my pay is going to have to be paid to my uni in tuition fees. I'm going to be cheeky when I ring up for the application form tomorrow and ask them if the fees I paid last year can be carried over to this year. Since I wasn't technically signed up, they can't have used teh fees (technically), can they? Doubt it will work, but it's worth the chance, and if it does it will be very :money: and same me about £300. I need that cash more than they do!

Anyway, keep your fingers crossed for me and I'll see how it goes.

Ugh..bad day...went to make a sandwich to take to work only to find that my brother had used all the sandwich meat. I didn't have time to get more so that meant £2.99 spent on lunch. Also, as I had a midday start and a busy morning, I had a late breakfast meaning I was hungry on the way to work for midday and needed to get a snack to keep me going until my break. The cheapest thing I could find was £1.50! So overall, that's £4.49 spent on stuff I didn't even want to buy, but had to!

On the up side, I was at work, which meant I was earning pennies, even if I was spending them nearly as quickly.

On the downside, I've nine hours of it tomorrow, finishing at 10pm.

See you soon, but probably not tomorrow! ;)

Thanks PaF! Have just rung up for the papers to sign up and now I need to get another piece of paper and fork out the cash and things will be ok - administrativley. I then need to sign up pedagogically. I made a mistake there last year, not realising that it had to be done like that, and it nearly cost me dearly. I don't know, how hard can they make it?!

    Otherwise, I'm getting there! :T

Today was a NSP. Just as well, after yesterday! ;)

However, rang the French uni to sort stuff out this morning and it seems that I will have to pay the tuition fees again this year (boo!), but they should be about 240 Euros, which is a bit less than I was expecting. Come on exchange rate: help Pickle out here!

OK, so today I didn't walk home straight from the shops but went for a little look round: BIG mistake!

There is a COSTCO near to where I work so I nipped there on the way home from work to pick up a candle that mum had seen and 'suggested' she might like for a Christmas present. I would have preferred to have left it until next month, but knew that it is unlikely it would still be there then, so I got it now. While at work a colleague of mine had shown me a beautiful silicone cake mould she had bought in an unusual shape, and I then dropped by the homeware store from which she had bought it, to see what other shapes they had; I'm looking for a specific one to make a cake for which I have the recipie. Naturally this cake mould is neither urgently required or necessary but I went to look anyway...they didn't have what I was looking for, but I happened to see some gorgeous, large, good quality scrap books (which could also be used for photo albums, and boy, do I need some of them!) for a bargainous £3.99 each! I swear I've seen similar ones retails for £25+ in certain shops, so I bought 2 for me and 1 as a Christmas present for a particular friend (we don't normally do Christmas presents so why am I thinking of giving it to her this year when I'm more skint than usual? Must stop being nice!) I also found a picture as a present for another friend who has her birthday in December as well. I didn't dare leave that behind as there weren't many and I sometimes struggle to find appropriate things to get her, but still hadn't planned/budgeted for it this month. I mean, I'll have the money knocking around, but it could have been put in my savings.

In one way I'm pleased that I've knocked a few presents off the Christmas list, including some tricky ones which bamboozle me, but I indulged myself as well. My inner :money: tells me that the £7.98 I spent on the bargains for myself (+ the £3.99 of not necessarily strictly required present) was a bad idea. I have 14 days to return them. Should I, or am I just being too strict?! Do I need a bit of leeway given that I have basically no social life and relatively few 'pleasure' spends?

In other news, I've realised that reading people's posts on the forum has galvanised me into buying Christmas presents much earlier than I normally would. I'm normally good at choosing appropriate presents for people (apart from the odd bamboozler), but this is giving me more time to find the best prices, which is good. I found one part of my mum's present for half the price I would have paid in the shops online, and I'm currently finding best prices for everything else under consideration. :D
