    Oh well... I pledge to be more on form with my diary from now on. Must get off the unbeaten track and back on the wagon. Not been as focused as I could have been esp this weekend. Time to get focused!

  • Good morning everyone! :hello:

    Well, its monday, the beginning of a new week, and I'm feeling quite positive. Have been a bit off the boil with MSE this weekend, but am back on the bandwagon and raring to go! :)

    Finally feeling like things could be on the up-and-up. Maybe its the change in the seasons.. Im more an Autumn/Winter girl. :snow_grin I know its not a popular choice but I love all the holidays;

    Halloween _party_ - usually throw a little party just for Me, OH and the cats (hehe, sad I know but we love it) Lots of sweets, candlelight, a few decorations and some scary films! And even better this year it falls on a weekend! Yay! :T

    Bonfire Night - whether we stay in or go out its nice with the pretty fireworks and the candy apples! Turn up the TV at the weekend though as thats when all the families do fireworks and the cats can get a bit anxious!

    The local fair - A bit tacky but good fun for a little walk around - might give it a miss this year cos of money but we'll see. We live quite close to it so its still nice to hear the sounds from the garden (if a little scary!! Hehe)

    And last but not least.........

    Christmas and New Year!! - I know a few people who aren't too keen and find it quite depressing (my mum doesnt even have a tree since I moved out in 2004) but I LOVE it! Its my favourite time of year. Im so excited about it - even now! Cant wait. :rudolf::xmassmile:xmastree::snow_laug So if you're not a christmas fan, my diary may get evry annoying soon... but you never know. I might even bring you round! :rotfl: :A.

    Anyway where was I (waffling again)... Ah yes, new MSE enthusiasm.

    So Im gonna do my weekly to do lists as before, and STICK to them! :T

    So at some point today expect a long and probably boring list - Im counting on you all to keep me on the straight and narrow! :);)

    Enogh for now.

    September xx

  • OK so 1 weekly to do list coming up (In no particular order);
    • Go through cupboards and do a meal plan for at least a week trying to use up what I've got (the ''wannabedebtfree'' way - not planning what to eat on what day just planning a load of random ones and picking on the actual day what to have)
    • Re-look at the budget for next month (less than 2 weeks away for me - payday!) as I think I may have accidently left some things off last time. Tut tut for not being focused. :o
    • Book in for a hair appointment at some point after payday (only £15 and not been done for about 6 months- Im in dire need now).
    • Actually do some studying - not just say Im going to- need to get to grips with my evening courses.. cant just blag it as I did last year. :( Its a lot harder now!
    • Do some house stuff. Decluttering etc. It really is just a tip at the moment!! :eek: Not good. Need to get it in order ready for christmas! :)
    • Shop for a curtain pole. My living room is freezing as I have no curtains up just blinds that dont fit right. Waiting for my new ones! :(
    • Try to have an indepth look at things I can do to raise more money - 2nd jobs, ebay, scratchies?, car boots etc.
    I think thats more than enough to get started! :) :T

  • Hi September,

    You've just reminded me I need a couple of curtain poles!

    Just having a read through your posts and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has to put themselves back on the bandwagon every now and then after a fall or two.

    Keep up the hard work! :D x
