  OK, relooking at the budget, and dont know how much to put down for grocery etc shopping for the month. This should include our food, cats food (£28.51 p/month) prescription diet, cat litter, and cleaning goods....
Is £200 too much? Maybe too little?
Cat litter is £5 a time lasts about a week. Have to get expensive stuff... cat goes a bit mental and about chokes himself with the cheapo stuff. :rolleyes:Proud to be dealing with my debts one step at a time.Weight Loss Progress - 0 out of 56lbsWBDF's 'Weight Loss Challenge to Christmas 2009' Progress - 0 out of 21lbsPart of the DFW Addicts '''Blankie Club'' - Working my way to VEGAS babyOctober NSD's 0/100 -
Does the cat need to be inside? Litter is sooooo expensive - we used to have a house cat, but thats only because she was 22 and totally deaf so we were scared to let her out!
We spend around £200 a month, and I don't really feel that we are *that* strict on budgeting, but we are vegetarian and eat mainly vegetables with a bit of quorn. I also get free lunch at work and don't eat breakfast....so....I would think on this basis that £200 would be reasonable for you?!
We also have one very fat cat. He is *always* hungry and has these eyes that make him look like he hasn't been fed in weeks, but he his belly tells a different story....

He's inside by our choice mainly, my mums were always house and so are mine. Nobody quite gets it but its just a personal thing I guess. Hes OCD about the litter I swear, he scrapes and covers it up like a madman and comes out white (hes actually black) coughing and wheezing if i use the cheap stuff!

I think i will try to jot up an estimate of what i think things will cost or go on the asda website and do a mock weekly shop see what it comes in at! lol.Proud to be dealing with my debts one step at a time.Weight Loss Progress - 0 out of 56lbsWBDF's 'Weight Loss Challenge to Christmas 2009' Progress - 0 out of 21lbsPart of the DFW Addicts '''Blankie Club'' - Working my way to VEGAS babyOctober NSD's 0/100 -
My cat does nothing but ask for food - bless him! Hence the special fat cat food.

My vet put ours on R/D (reduction diet)

OH sometimes gets carried away and feeds him too much early on which I have to put a stop to cos if he misses his ''just before bedtime'' feed he gets grumpy and wont come on the pillow above mine to sleep - he just sits on the desk and glares :rotfl:Proud to be dealing with my debts one step at a time.Weight Loss Progress - 0 out of 56lbsWBDF's 'Weight Loss Challenge to Christmas 2009' Progress - 0 out of 21lbsPart of the DFW Addicts '''Blankie Club'' - Working my way to VEGAS babyOctober NSD's 0/100
