  • Determined to be productive today. :D
Will ignore the garden and sunshine apart from putting washing out and apply for at least 1 job and do some work on the shop accounts.

I too am going to try and be productive but I am still tired after my weekend, my son is still here and I have to go to Ikea to swap some stuff, pick up a couple of mended laptops and drop son off so busy day really.

    Good luck Luc!

I've just booked my tickets for Ilkley Literature Festival, I'm only going to half the events I wanted to because of Leeds festival being so much over budget. I've booked to see Sarah Dunant talk, I can't wait for that. Luckily I get cheap tickets, so it was about £20 for five events. Just hope my car doesn't break down - last time I went my clutch went in the dark in the middle of the moors and I didn't have my mobile on me!

  • morning all -

busy day at work so might not get to post much....

had a couple of texts from Lucifa, she was cacking herself. her interview has gone from a panel of 3 to 1-2-1.... i told her chin up, chest out but then she said interviewer was a woman so she's not going for chest out afterall!!

Lovely autumn day here.... football training for erin and run for me tonight....

    Morning all :D

Lovely day here - I might put some washing on then go and potter in the garden, pull a few weeds etc. It's the last week of the holidays and I've done nowt at all - was full of plans, but none of it happened

Good luck today Luc, hope it goes well.

  • Morning all! Hope everyone had a good bank holiday weekend!

Had a busy one myself... out fri and sat night..out part of sun day, had the fella over sunday night (he's been poorly recently but seems to be on the mend now.), yesterday day we went out looking at cars.... don't think I've spent much time in the house this weekend. lol Can always tell when I've not got the kids, I spend as much time out of the house as possible lol!

No real plans for today, need to nip down the shop and bank in a bit... got a bit more towards my car savings so need to bank it before I spend it/the girls steal it! lol :)

  • Bank manager phoned.
    At last :j

Basically he has told me not to worry too much. He will talk to his manager and the recoveries dept to see the best way forward. He thinks we should be able to work something out without losing the house. He says not considered in default until 3 payments missed and that seizing the house is something they only do as a very last resort as nobody really wins.

    Not sure what to think.
  • Lurker here - think that sounds positive for you? They seem to understand and are trying to do what they can to help? Do you still need to meet with them or will they just get back to you when they know whats happening?

He is going to phone me back on Monday - I don't need to keep the appointment booked for tomorrow. He was going to phone on Friday but I am camping!

Anybody know what a POPS order is? I hate application forms.
